I really cannot wait for the sims 3. Very exciting. I hope they have more development in the toddler/baby stage cos I loved that addition in the sims 2.

It sounds as if the sims 3 will add a whole new dimension to game play. I really cannot wait for a whole year.

I hope my lap top will keep up- its new at the moment and works well with the sims 2.

Summer 2009 isn't really that far away. We still have one more TS2 expansion to come, and maybe one more stuff pack. So TS3 will be here before you know it!

Unless the team for TS3 are about as motivated as that of the creators of Spore, then we should see the game come at around 2012.

They're completely different teams.
They have one team focusing on TS3 and another on SPORE.

I think people would rather save their money for sims 3? after all, I don't think there will be many people playing sims 2 if they have sims 3. Not unless they really hate ts3.
Then again, people like to complete their collections...
