Does anyone else feel like we're heading towards Sims City, as if the two franchises are merging? All we need is an EP to come along where you can contol the budget of the neighbourhood as a whole, then we'll be there.
In some ways I'm intrigued. It is going to be completely different, setting up families and letting them get on with life. Or concentrating on just the one family (or person, since family members will go out or grow up and leave home and then you won't be able to keep such a close eye on them). Mind you, it is wierd at the moment in Sims2 - I've got childen dying of old age before their grandparents. But at least you keep ultimate control over EVERYTHING!! I guess I'm mainly worried about the unknown, but there does seem to be a much bigger shift in gameplay than there was from Sims to Sims 2. And I have seen what happened with SimCity Societies. |

Well, a lot of people are not sure about the game.. but a lot are sure that it's going to be good.. but to be honest, i don't think there going to make a stupid game.. They've still got a year to change and edit things.. so i doubt that the game wont be good.. or even bad at all

I know we still got a year left but i really wouldn't mind a bit more info and maybe a decent, real trailer with maybe even some kind of Sims 3 bodyshop to keep us occupied.. i do realize we're not going to get this atm as it's still probably early stages but i would like to se something like a bodyshop, maybe even instead of bodyshop kind-of a program to build small Sims 3 houses and show us the new arcitectural (sorry don't know how to spell) tools for buildings.

Wow, just realised by looking at those pics we can see we will have (if they don't remove it):
-More than 3 story houses. -Diagonal Placement (looks as untidy as ever )-Some kind of ready-made shop or buisness system (whether its as advanced we don't know) -Look at the fourth picture on the left side building, the windows are different heights! Does this mean that different heights of room will be possible? |

Well someone on a post showed that you can pre-order TS3 already at play.com i think.. It says on there its £30.00 but i doubt that such a big, good game would cost only £30.00
I could probably imagine it being about £50.00 or something around that price area. |

My bad! But you have all that time to continue playing sims 2 and perhaps anticpate one last ep? Although Makin' Magic concluded the Sims 1 series which contained a feauture of the sims 2 game and Free time seems to have done the same thing here.

While going through a lot of Sims 3 pages and websites i found this:
The Sims 3 PC Preview, The Sims 3 Preview Seems quite important to me and gives some info.. I didn't know Will Wright wasn't on the TS3 project!

Nice preview, it was good to see it layed out with the pros and cons.
This made me LOL "We wouldn't be surprised to see a whole expansion pack dedicated entirely to new Traits somewhere down the line. Loves Dogs? Only Turns Left? Dances at Inappropriate Times? Cries When Eating? The possibilities are almost endless." ![]() |

A let down that i think i read on that preview is that when Sims enter a clothes shop, you don't get to follow them!?
![]() It said they faid into the building and then buy the clothes but you can't watch... that will be an absoloute pathetic idea for me. I love going out and entering clothes shops and such with my Sims, I'd hate to see them start dissapearing on me. I thought the idea on this game was that you can walk EVERYWHERE or ANYWHERE. Seems to me that feature might not be on here if you enter a shop.. ![]() I hope this may be false information or they scrap that idea!
