Default Expansion Packs

Well I just bought two new expansion packs on ebay, Bon Voyage, and Night Life. I thought these two looked the funnest expansion packs, but maybe I was wrong, so what do YOU think are the best two expansion packs?

Seasons I agree, but University would be replaced with Bon Voyage!

Good choices I think. NightLife adds loads of new interactions for your Sims and makes it easy for your Sims to make and keep friends for longer, and Bon Voyage adds loads of destinations and fun stuff to discover and keep your Sims busy for a long time.

My fave is University but only because it expands more simply on the base game's theme of growing your Sims from crib to grave, that and I just love the Cow Mascot, among other things.

Open for Business is a really good expansion. The trailers for it are a bit deceptive as Sims don't actually take shopping bags full of stuff home with them, or mill around carrying them on the street outside of shops. The bags disappear as soon as they've paid for the stuff. An untrained Sim on the cash register is one of my favourite animations, it's too cute. I'd recommend OfB to anyone, you can't not like it.

The Cow Plant is from Uni, yeah, lol, it eats Sims and is the perfect way to get rid of ugly or irritating Townies you don't like, and you can milk the Cow Plant and drink the Sims' essence when you're done to make your Sim younger. Gotta send your Sim to University to graduate before he can take the Natural Science career to get the plant though. Unless you cheatsies.

I was on about the Cow Mascot (Click Me) in my post though. The rival, evil mascot to the Llama of your Sims' campus. He just goes around ventrillo-farting and poking people, setting off the fire extinguishers and making a mess. If the costume wasn't so cute you'd get angry, but I love the Cow.

My favourite are Seasons (weather is great, adds a lot of benefits too) and Open for business (it's so much fun running the business), although I do love Nightlife (cars and going out) too

I love the feel of Seasons, too. S'a great EP to have when you wanna concentrate on the homefront, and it adds a lot of atmosphere to your hood. S'a good pack for Elders I think, with all the gardening. Heh. The only EP I wouldn't recommend before any of the others is TS2 Pets. Unless I knew that person was crazy for animals. For the rest, I could throw them up in the air and catch one randomly, and be happy with what I'd caught.

Getting and installing them all is the way to go, though. =D

Seasons and... I can't choose another one for second, but Seasons is definately the best. It adds a lovely feel to the game, and I love the beautiful, orangy tone you get in the autumn - I also love the temperature thing, and how your sims can get sunburnt!

In my opinion, I loved Apartment Life and Open For Business!

On Apartment Life, you can live in a apartment. (Duh! ) you can also have a room mate. But the best thing about it is that you can build your own apartment using that cheat!

I love Open For Business aswell. Why? Cause you can buy a community lot or make your own home lot into a home business!

Only ones I skipped were Pets, Bon Voyage and Freetime. They looked boring.

I simply love Open for Business. Fantastic game play. I hope that a similar pack arrives for Sims 3. Sims 2 Uni is good but some people find the university life a tad boring. The benefits outweigh the vices though. pets was great for me, but I think it was time for EA and maxis to just include pets in the base game instead of the extortion which is making us get an EP for every version!
