Well yes i've turned up like a bad penny again - still going through some health problems, got an operation scheduled for a week on tuesday, but i'm getting back into the swing of things slowly...
Anyway.. stop babbling Smoffi! I'm being treated to a new puter by hubby, and for the first time in nearly 10 years i wont be building it myself! The downside of that is that i have no choice but to have the dreaded vista on it. Now having done some digging around i've heard a vicious rumour that sims 2 wont run on the 64bit version of vista.. is that true? Not sure yet which version is coming on my new pc, its just listed as 'vista home premium' A new PC is no use if i can't use it to play sims! *hugs* Smoffi |

The dreaded Vista as you put it is fine. iI was worried when I had mine which is over a year ago, and have had no problems whatsoever. In fact it is better than XP. Sims 2 runs perfectly well on Vista. So you have no need to be concerned.

![]() I know it runs on Vista, its just the 64 bit version i'd heard bad stuff about, but from what has been said here, it looks like it wont be a problem after all. *hugs* Smoffi |
