Default Objects at 45 degrees?

Is it possible to rotate an object by 45 degrees?
In a house I downloaded there were two chairs which were like this but I do not know how to rotate things like this on my own lots.
Please help.

Bring up the cheat box by holding Ctrl, Shift and C, then type in this cheat:

boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true

You should then be able to rotate objects at a 45 degree angle, although you have to use the , and . keys to do so.

Warning! Spoiler Below:
your sims wont, unfortunately, be able to use the items places at 45 degrees. The lights will light up your house but you won't be able to place a television at 45 degrees and a sofa for them to watch it from at 45 degrees. not sure why but it just is. Oh and paintings dont fit onto diagonall walls. Sorry

^^^^^^
i think that needed spoilers

A lot of spoilers.

I don't tend to use the cheat, as you can't actually use the objects you've placed.

congrats on your first 45 degree angle!

Sorry, had to jump on this Spoilery bandwagon..

Like Becky, I never use this cheat because of items not working. That's one of the main things I'm looking forward to with Sims 3..

or you could just download an application called Seethem2
which has 4 options
Disable Censor (i dont use)
45 Degree (i use)
move objects out of grid ( i dont use)
Move objects (i use)
search it on google
quicker than typing in a cheat
Warning! Spoiler Below:
quicker quicker quicker!
it also lets u make ANYTHING AT 45 DEGREES while the cheat doenst
