Heres the answers to the Questions every new to the sims 2 wants to know:-

How do you move to a different neighbourhood?

If you'd like to move your sim family to a different neighbourhood, you have to put the house that your family occupy into the house and lots bin (with the family still in there).
Then enter the neighbourhood that you'd like your family to move to, and place your familys house in a vacant lot. and hope that your family have a good life in thier new town

Where is Bella Goth?

Bella Goth is (according to sources) located in Strange town, to get her back with the Goth family you have to move the Goths to Strangetown and befriend her using Alexander Goth.
then you must get Bella and Mortimers Relationship high and kiss her and she will start to remember her family.
if you don't want her back with the Goths just looking for her can be fun too ( apparently she can be found in the comunity lots in strangetown )

Bella is very hard to find, you CAN'T find her at a certain time of place, she'll just appear at random (when and if she ever choses to) however Maxis are planning to make her easier to find with a patch.

How to have a baby.

Once your sim has met the sim of their dreams and their relationship bars are high then they may want (or you want them to)to have a baby, to have a baby get your sims to relax on the bed or go in the hot tub, then when you click on the other sim the "try for a baby" option may pop up ( this doesn't always happen) click on it and your sims will try for a baby, although your sims don't always get pregnant first time.

you should know if your sim is pregnant because a lullaby like tune will play and a day later your sim will start to develope a bump.

By Random your Sim might give birth to twins, but there is no way to ensure that this happens, also it is not possible to have triplets.

How to Woohoo

You get your sims to woohoo the same way you get them to try for a baby, but with out the baby popping out at the end


How to get into private school

You may want your child sim to go to private school, to do this you must use the phone to invite the headmaster round, he will then come round and will give you points on you house, food and Smooze factors.
to make the best impression make sure the sim that prepares the food has a good amount of cooking points and make him a nice meal,
clean the house make sure it's not to clutered and has some nice toys for the Kids, give him a tour round each room.
Charisma points help too when you talk and smooze with him.

How to sneak out?

When your sim is a teen and is freindly with another sims you will have the abilitie to sneak out.
wait till 10pm and the other sims are asleep and get your teen sim to use the phone, the option to sneak out sould appear.
then at 1am a car will appear in the car port and your teen sim will jump in and appear back at home a few hours later.

Getting Abducted

If'd like your sim to have a close encounter, then buy them a Farscape e3 telescope then at night when all your other sims are asleep get your sim to go stargazing, (there is something like a 5% chance of him being abducted ) if s/he is taken by another life form, he'll disappear for a few hours and the male sims arrive back pregnant!!!

Abduction does not always happen.

Want to see a ghost?

When one of your sims dies (or gets killed ) an urn should appear, if you move the urn to outside it turns into a grave stone. as long as your sim has a grave stone in the garden ( or an urn in the house ) a ghost should appear at random during the night.

Do non playable charaters age?

In a word no, it's a pain in the back side epecially when you teen sim fulls in love with a NPC and then they don't age, but unfortunatly thats the way it is.

How can I get a cow plant?

The cow plant is a career reward, to get one you need to get far in the natural scientists career.

How to join a band

You can't actually "join a band" you can however play in a band.
To do this you have to click on an instrument and selet practise or preform, to get other sims to play with you click on them and selet "ask to join.
You also earn simoleons by preforming.

how to join a secret society

Keep and eye out for the sims wearing dark blazers with the Llama crest on it, these are the society members, make friend with 3 of these sims and they will wisk you away.

How Do I Combine Households

Combining houses was one of the concepts added with the University expansion pack. The family you want to have moved in, need to be in the lots and houses bin. Select the family in the bin that you want to move and click on an occupied lot. You will get an option to combine the households. Your family that is moving in will keep their own name and not take on the name of the household they are moving in to.

If you want to combine several houses that are both occupied, just evict one of them to the lots and houses bin and use the procedure outlined above.

One thing to remember about combining households, you cannot go over the game limit of 8 sims in a household. This means that if the family you want to move in would take the new household over 8 sims, then you won't get the option to combine.

Apparently Bella Goth is in the balloon as well.
Theres sort of a blurry person in a red dress in the balloon, could be her!

To be honest I'm not even sure who Bella Goth or what the big deal with finding her is!

I've seen a lot of posts concerning it, I just wondered what the fuss is about (was she in the original Sims or had her own expansion pack or something?)

Nik, one of the original families in Sims 1 was the Goths, along with the Roomies, Batchelor and Newbies. If you look at the family trees of some of the Maxis families in Sims 2 you will see these names cropping up. After playing characters for 4 years you get attached to them....

I played the original Sims but I never noticed them, I've never really liked playing as pre-made families in pre-made houses though: the house designing bit is part of the fun for me.

Its on the neighbourhood selection screen as one of the objects you can place. If you put a balloon object down and then go back to live mode you can see it flying around over the neighbourhood. Zoom in close enough and theres a blurry woman in the balloon: its not very exciting though. Especially if the name Bella Goth means nothing to you!

apparently bella can be found in the comunity lots in strange town but I think it is a random thing, so she isn't always there. personally I've never seen her but I've only ever entered the comunity lots a couple of times.

as far as I know you can befriend her through another sim. ( named in first post)

the information posted is what I have gathered from my own gaming and other threads relating to these questions.

I've now answered the question aboput the ghost (as best as I could ) to my first post,
as for the 2nd chance at life I think one of your sims have to die, and another sim battle the grim reaper to save you but I'm not too sure so have not added that yet.

I think Alexander is a member of the Goth household now (but not sure as I've not played them yet) and he has to find bella and become friends, but I'll cheak it out next time I play. k

oh and about the post I made on the topic you posted, didn't mean to affend you with the newbie comment was just trying to defend you from any negetive comments ( you know which I mean )

The hope to be saved by death, is when the said sim dies and another sim begs the grim reaper to spare them, it happened to me, but the grim reaper won.
