Hit&Run is one of my all time favourite games, right from the moment I saw screen shots of it on Gamespot.com - and even more since I got it (it even prompted me to buy a Gamecube in addition to my PS2, since I thought the screenshots for the Gamecube version looked better than the PS2 & XBOX versions slightly)......... and I've been wanting a Nintendo DS port of it for a few years now, too.
Additions i'd like to see to a new one...... a Nintendo DS port of one, with additional WiFi versions of the races in it....... graphics on a par with Mario Kart DS / Zelda: Phantom hourglass. On the other non-handheld consoles (PS2 / PS3 / Xbox360 / Wii / PC) ....... being able to go to the same areas in the original game, without having to switch levels.... and maybe a few extra areas, such as one based on "Area 51a" (and use the airfield + run way like a BBC Top Gear style test track, and / or have to steal something from there and make a getaway as a challenge to learn more of whatever the plot might be). Being able to fully explore the houses & other buildings (especially the Simpsons' house + the School), instead of just being able to go into the Simpsons livingroom via the front door, and Bart's bedroom via an upstairs window........ and maybe also add the ability to explore Springfield via the Sewers (like in "The Sims: Bustin' Out".. another of me favourite games)..... and perhaps also make it possible to take a break from the main gameplay by visiting Mr Burn's casino to make or lose more game money to spend on cars, etc. And of course I suppose it wouldn't be complete these days without the addition of a few online gaming features, like doing the race challenges against other players + maybe additional challenges. Well, I love Simpsonlalalala & Run as well... A fantastic game that deserves a sequel! But wasn't it developed by Vivendi Universal Games and published by Sierra? I think EA had nothing to do with it... I don't know, is EA's permission to make Simpsons games exclusive? I remember that during the 16-bit era Acclaim had an exclusive licence... They published about 15 games and, apart from 2-3 that were fun, most of them sucked.
