I am also struggling on the Ape screen - get to 2nd level and can't go further as I can't move the pipes for Lisa to move upward.

I am playing on a Nintendo DS lite. Is this a technical fault or can anyone help me to progress???

Do you mean near the beginning of the level? If you smash open the barrel, there is a Hand of Buddha inside which you can use to move the crate so that you can climb up onto the second level. There's another Hand of Buddha up there, which you use to re-arrange the platforms near by.

No, I don't think that's the right screen.

It's the screen where the Ape throws barrels down and if Lisa gets in the way she loses life. The object is to defeat the ape by using the hands to destroy the structure. The hands allow you to move the pipes, but you can only get to the 3rd platform on that screen. The pipes need to be moved out the way to go further up but I can't find any way to continue as the next pipe is in the top screen and can't be reached.

Any ideas???

Oh, okay. You need to take out all of the pins from the structure in order to destroy it.

Use the Hand of Buddha on the bottom (to the left) and remove the two pins near by. Then, climb up the ladder and go to the right and take out 3 more using the Hand of Buddha (there's one below it, too). Now go up, to the left, and remove another two pins, then remove the last one from the right.

Nope, can't get further up after I have removed the first 5 pins. I have tried to jump from one platform to the other but it doesn't work. The pins higher up are flashing to be removed but they appear in the top screen so can't be activated.

I think I should give up now!!!

Ah, I think I know where you are stuck (and I'm not surprised, it's a very difficult part)!

After you've removed the first five pins, climb up the ladders to the right. From this platform you must jump over to the platform to the left. This is a huge gap and you will need to 'double jump' (as late as possible) in order to make it across!

From here, simply remove the two nearby pins and then continue up the ladders and over to the right and remove the 8th (and final) pin!!
