Default Is it any good?

May sound like a lalalalalala question to ask but i'm unsure weather to get it for PS3 so honestly is it good. Like what would you people give it out of ten.

The average score from media reviews is in the high 70s/100. If you're a fan of The Simpsons, you could probably forgive it for whatever problems it may have, but if you're not a huge fan, 7-8/10 is hardly a terrible score.

Try the demo first.

Worst game ever. Don't waste your money. If you have to check it out, make sure to rent it. IMHO, thats still a waste of a good fiver.

Camera angels were bad, and caused many problems as they moved around on their own at the worst times. Th puzzles were impossible - look at how many people are asking what the heck they are supposed to be doing on these forums alone. There are no clues, no ideas, nothing - you have to muddle your way through the levels in efforts to figure out what your supposed to be doing in most of the game.

Don't believe the hype - this game is very bad. Graphics are really good, but the gameplay is so bad you will want to get rid of it within an hour after turning it on.

The Playstation 3 / Xbox 360 versions of the game are much better, believe me.
They have the Springfield Hub and longer missions (I believe).

Maybe having something hard to do is better, unlike say fifa08 where people can complete 1 season, and on other football games skip matches and simulate a result - thats challenging, isn't it?

Its nice to have a hard game to get your teeth into, for me it was the simcity series but since societies is a big softie this has replaced the game i play when i want to be challenged.

i thinks its an excellent game, and ive only had it for 2 days (got it for christmas on ps3). i think im on level 6 or something like that now. its the level where your in the game factory and the gorilla takes professor fink hostage. its a kind of puzzle/ adventure game as you have to use your brain to think what to do to get to the next part, and the levels are very challenging considering its a simpsons game. i am a great fan of the series so if you are you will love this game.

I love it on xbox 360, I love the little shorts created just or the game, I think gameplay is great, and I like the cartoony graphics. I think the story line is suitably wacky for the simpsons, and really well thought out. I would give it 8.5 out o ten

I absolutley love this game. I love finding every little bit mocking Video Games etc. I found the angles annoying before but Ive sussed them out now.

Great game.

i rented it at first and was hooked, i am a simpsons fan but also for me there is just the one major fault for the game( iv just bought the 360 version) and that is the camera angles. they are a nightmare at times they really are, apart from that i like the game very mich just wish the camera angles would be sorted. come on ea listen to the fans for once. you havnt done it with the endless fifa games so surly now would be a good time to listen to the fans!!!! by the way im on the invasion of the yokel snatchers, to be honest the puzzles are not that hard on the simpsons game. if you play lego star wars then you will have no problem with the puzzles on this game.

I have to agree. You want a more challenging game occasionaly, but not clueless and seemingly impossible. I must admit, I've only picked it up twice because I found the jumps to hard, and then I just didn't know what I was supposed to do! For instance, one level is a food eating contest. What would you presume you have to do? Nope, it's not eat as much food as you can! You travel round the 'world' with puzzles and stuff to get into each new country, and it's timed. ???!
It's funny yes, and there is lots of cartoon cuts, but I'd say Hit and Run is 100% better, and more fun.
I'd give it 4/10 and that's for the gags and cuts.

You're not left to "muddle your way through the level", or completely helpless;

I agree, that some parts require you to 'step back' and think about how you're going to tackle a situation, but it certainly isn't 'impossible'!
