Enter the Cheatrix

This level has been causing a lot of problems for you in a few main parts, on various different versions of the game!

Here are the guides to the parts you have been having difficulty with, so far:

Pipe Puzzle (PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation Portable)

Towards the end of the level there is a difficult pipe puzzle. Read on to learn how to overcome it...

What do I need to do?

In order for Bart to follow the Stubborn Ape, he needs to be able to jump into the red pipe and come out of the green pipe, not the purple one. For Bart to be able to do this, 6 of the multi-coloured pipes must be connected. You need to connect them using Lisa's "Hand of Buddha" ability.

How do I do this?

Have the "Hand of Buddha" pick up, and then drop, the metal "U" shaped pipes onto the multi-coloured pipes, so that when Bart jumps in the giant red pipe, he goes all the way through and comes out at the other end.

Walk me through it?

The multi-coloured pipes are set out in a 3x3 grid, in front of the "Hand of Buddha", facing Lisa.
There are three, metal, "U" shaped pipes to the right.

Pick up a metal, "U" shaped pipe and drop it over the yellow and green pipes on the left.
Pick up a metal, "U" shaped pipe and drop it over the orange and pink pipes in the middle.
Pick up a metal, "U" shaped pipe and drop it over the orange and yellow pipes on the right.

It should now look like this (bird's eye view):

O U O
U U U
U O U

where U = metal, "U" shaped pipe.
and O = open.

Once you've put the pipes into place, switch back to Bart and have him "grapple" onto the hook above the red pipe, so that he can fall into it. He will go through all of the pipes and come out of the green one at the other side.

Voila! You've done it!

Stubborn Ape's Structure Puzzle (Nintendo DS)

The final section of Enter the Cheatrix on the Nintendo DS requires you to pull eight pins out of the Stubborn Ape's structure (using the Hand of Buddha), as he throws barrels down at you. To do this part of the level;

Remove the two pins near with the first Hand of Buddha. Climb the ladders to the right and remove the next two pins. Climb up the next set of ladders to the right. From this platform you must jump over to the platform to the left. This is the hard part; it's a huge gap and you will need to 'double jump' (as late as possible) in order to make it across!

From here, simply remove the two nearby pins and then continue up the ladders and over to the right and remove the 8th (and final) pin!!
