Default Autumn Internationals :D

Well this forum has died a death, and then sodded off again.

But for anyone who finds this just chat about the AI's.

To start: Scotland will win at best 2 out of 3 games, possibly none ]

Wales will never have a better chance to beat NZ

England are lalalaed beyond belief. (If that comes out as lalala it was a swear word relating to a sexual action)

Reasons why England are ....ahem....not in a good posoiton (sexual innuendo, eh?)

1. Front row crisis
2. lack of enforcer in the 2nd row
3. Poor backrow - Croft doesn't ruck, no decent 8, and Moody isn't a 7
4. Geraghty doesn't play well at 12
5. Whoever goes at fullback will be awful - Monye can't catch/kick, and Foden can't defend

just to defend the english side on this forum yet again! :L

England stand a pretty good chance during the autum, i agree with regards the front row crisis in that we will need to change our 'gameplan' from a forward oriented game, to a wide and expansive game.. and i think Argentina, Australia and New zealand will not be able to cope with our backline.

Ben, where would u play moody then? if he isnt a 7

for 15 shirt i honestly dont know whos playing there at the moment lol, i would assume monye and put cueto and bannahan on the wings.

this a new look england, with the return of a LEGEND!!! at 10.. Autumn is the new start for this english team

Lucas González Amorosino, he's not playing against Eng (lol purple)anyway. I still don't understand why Cockerill likes him on the wing

Well the French flair is back!! What an awesome game, 20 - 13 to France....

The crowd was awesome and the battle at the rucks and mauls was mad! Loved how the French threw the ball around, plenty of skill and good to see a team chancing their arm. South Africa were never in it, their try was complete luck and they had the complete inability to retain possession, all they relied on was Morne Steyn kicking drop goals and Zane Kirchner belting the ball back to the French.

The entire French front row were unbelievable, they dominated scrums, sprinted round the park and provided the best platform for Dupuy. In particular Fabien Barcella, best player on the park for me, front rowers don't get enough credit for their work.

Top 5

1- Fabien Barcella: so passionate and led the pack well

2- Heinrich Brussow: made about 500 turnovers, never stopped working

3- Julien Dupuy: Got a great platform from the forwards and provided the best service for Trinh-Duc, also took lots of pressure off Trinh-Duc by taking plenty of box kicks

4- Thierry Dusautoir: Great leadership, pumped up everyone, made steals and led from the front.

5- Louis Picamoles: made some barnstorming runs and great cleanouts, looks like a great prospect.

I was about to post all this til I saw your comment
I couldn't believe Barcella, HE LOOKED LIKE a ****ing third rower. France just destroyed SA in the scrums, the whole pack looked really confident. Dusautoir was my Man of Match, although Brüssow was great as usual and Barcella, as I said, was just unbelievable. I still don't think Dupuy's very good, but I admit he's one of (if not) the best kickers in the world right now. MARC LIÈVREMONT FOR PREZ!!!!!!In your face Peter de Villiers!
And Argentina lost 16-9 I think we can beat Wales next Saturday, but it will be a really tough match

I thought Dupuy was great, definitley outplayed his opposite Fourie Du Preez. What about the South African national anthem, LOL, did they just pick that guy from the crowd or something hahahaha....

Yeh Argentina losing, terrible game though, they could have won, particularly if Contepomi and Hernandez were back, though in saying that England didn't have full strength either.

The Wales v Argentina match will be good.

England were terrible the biggest cheer wasnt for the final whistle, or when banahan finally scored.. it was for the paper aeroplane that someone had managed to throw onto the pitch! ..

we wont beat the all blacks if we play like we did on saturday
would like to watch the ireland game against aussie, i hear brian odriscoll was a star? lol

Yeh, I agree, everyone here says it was a good game and we could have easily won it, but honestly I think it was awful from both sides.

Australia 20 - Ireland 20

Great match, Australia deserved the win though. We dominated all aspects of the game besides kicking and the lineout, ball retention was awesome from the Aussies. the only reason it was a draw was because of Australia's stupid decisions to have a shot at goal, rather thatn run it. It was ridiculous, we have a great roll on, then a penalty from the inconsistent Jonathan Kaplan and we decide to have a shot.

What were they thinking, Giteau wasn't kicking great and we had ireland under immense pressure. Giteau misses and the Aussie momentum is ruined, I just don't get it. Whatever team i'm captain of, I'll never play like that.

Aside of that it was a great game, plenty of running and great ball recycle, also loving those torpedo kicks from the Irish. And what about the Aussie yellow card, that was just absolute lalalala, Palu clearly had his arms in the tackle and Rob Kearney just got smashed.

The real shoulder charge was Rob Kearney's on rocky Elsom when he scored that try in the corner, that was a definite yellow card.

I hated Jonathan Kaplan's style of refereeing, those stupid calls to reset the scrum, like just play the bloody game.

Top 5 players:

1 - David Pocock: Awesome game, really stepped up, I thought Deans made the wrong decision not putting George Smith in the starting line up. It turned out a masterstroke, so many turnovers, great work rate.

2 - Cian Healy: Great tackles and good running.

3 - Tommy Bowe: Got involved, great effort for a winger, Luke Fitzgerald was good aswell until he got injured.

4 - Rocky Elsom: Awesome work rate, great cleanouts and good at the lineout aswell. Made some breaks and scored that great try in the corner.

5 - Stephen Ferris: Played like Rocky, good cleanouts, plenty of runs and put his body on the line.

I think Palu's tackle was a penalty, but definitely not worthy of a yellow card. Kearney was like 'Dude, whaat happened'. And Kearney's penalty against Elsom when he scored should have been a penalty try IF he hadn't score

Are you kidding me, it only looked bad because Kearney fell straight to ground, if that hadn't happened it would be fine. They showed about 50 replays and everytime you could clearly see his arms up and across Kearneys body until Kearney just rebounded straight off him. If thats not legal than we may as well go play soccer.

Lets see fullback v No.8, who will get smashed in a head on collision??
