Here are a few suggestion of mine from league mode to actual game play
CAREER MODE i would love to see a new "career mode option" similar to ea fifa 2006. i know there is a "league mode" made from a hot potsch of all the club teams but i' am looking for something more realistic and challenging the similarities with carreer mode - the player would start with a poor club and get offers at the end of the season from higher clubs teams in different leagues or international teams and vice verse, if he meets his targets or be fired (end of game) The new improved mode - however the player would start in either guinness premiership with say worcester or better yet in a new magners league(if added, or even currie cup division 2 side, air new zealand cup, japanese league e.t.c) with glasgow or connaught if added. - a new prestige system (similar to signing better players in fifa) but this would be based on your managers experience and prestige points would be offered for winning cup - european cup, league cup, super 14's etc - with varying prestige points for the precieved difficulty of the league. ever club having an inbuilt prestige level that once the player achieve gets offers from clubs of this type or lowel accross the different leagues start with prestige points of 20 and gain - 30 points for winning heineken or super 14 cup, 15 points getting to semi's and 10 for quarter finals of said competitions. *league points* 5 for finishing in top half of table, 8 for top for finish and 10 for final appearence. * dependent on the league your in of course* league champions: super 14 (cup points) 30, french league (with top four going to playoff) 20, priemiership 20, magners league 15, currie cup 15, air new zealand cup 15, japanese league 10, italian league 10 of course a prsetige level dipping means you get fired - the player would progress until his prestige was high enough and then be offered maybe international jobs with tasks such as get japan to a world cup quarter final. even maintain a winning streak of 80 % with uruaguay. win tri nations with australia e.t.c. starting with lower international teams and then working up to better internationals (tri nations or 6 nations) and back and forth between clubs and international scene as your prestige allows prestige of 80 + for international jobs OTHER IDEAS more leagues: also the inclusion of full leagues such as magners, priemiership, french league, super 14 and currie cup, air new zealand and maybe lesser leagues like the italian or japanese would help this format and help the game set plays: i would also love to see the player being able to creat his own set plays instead of one' provided by the game |

well its spanish and on google translater it said he said:
You rightly Diego. We are missing a game of rugby as a people. For graphics would have to change the faces of many players. After what you said there is something wrong: there is sometimes, though very few, in which one can go back very close to Rucker, but equally it is very rare. It would have put pressure on the EA for a Rugby 2010. Finally: what club you are? That doesn't make much sense though |

I know this has been asked a million times somwhere in these forums, and a lot of good suggestions have been made, has there actually been any replies from an EA person to suggest wether or not they are actually even considering a next gen Rugby game - I am gagging for one!!

Basically, what we all want is much looser gameplay. IMO, Rugby 08 was no REAL difference to 06, even 05.
We want backs in the rucks. We want the centres and the full-back making dummy runs off the fly-half "off-the cuff" (i.e. not done by selecting a move off the D-pad, meaning slow recycled ball). We want a far looser kicking system. We don't want all the best players in the world being 99/98. It should be like FIFA, where you have only Ronaldo at 90 on game release. Having said that, a sort of Player Growth system like FIFA would be excellent. But that would mean a decent, half-realistic Manager Mode, with proper Transfers, backroom staff, Academies and Training. Is this going to happen? Hopefully. |

I just want to say ,why does EA plan to bring the new game to only ps2 and Pc ?????????I would love a rugby game that had the HD compatability
I have the 80 Gb Ps3 so it is not backwards compatable ,so my question to EA is do Rugby 09 or 2010 for PS3 as well because that was the main reason i bought a PS3!!!!!!!! |

i would love to see a new rugby game, it should have a fifa style manager mode, with the best league in the world, have international tournaments, and a be a pro mode similar to fifa where you play as a single player on the pitch.
