When is there going to be a rugby game for the xbox 360. I feel i may have to change to ps3 to get a rugby game. I remember the old ea sports rugby from 2005, it was mega. Surely microsoft can make an awesome rugby game, we have football, ice hockey, basketball, college american football, NFL, table tennis for gods sake. Its mega dissapointing, ive been waiting for 3 years now.

The game could be so much better than 08. Firstly, it needs to be more difficult. It's way too easy!!!

I totally agree that there should be a visible referee and a TMO if possible!!! That would be awesome.

I think that the comentary should be much better, it is lalalala in 08. I think that there should be a manager mode like in fifa 08 where you can manage a team (buy new players, change traing sessions etc) and not nessecarily play the games!!!

Update the players bios like every1 else has said.

Make the contact area much more chaotic and have different tackles, the same ones have been used for every game!!!

For goal kickers, the placement of the ball, stance of player and the run up should all mirror the real players.

ELV's should be an option you can choose to play with or not.

rugby 06 was a AWFUL GAME! i was so ****ed off wen i 1st played it. Ther needs a lot of improvement.

PLZ PLZ ignore the people sayin "we need better kits" n "better commentators" n that ****. The gameplay needs massive improvement!

1. wen u run with the ball and make a break.. DONT ALLOW THE ENITRE REST OF THE OPPOSTITIONS TEAM 2 CHAS AFTER HIM!. if u watch when u make a break with a center or sumthing, the enitre team chase him! All in a bunch like a group of ****in rems! MAKE A LINE OF DEFENSE! the defense is shocking, ther is no structured line never, when defending and attacking. Plz make a more realistic line...perhaps if u watch a rugby match u might see wer u went wrong!

2. Passing. MUST MUST b better. More real plz, y shud the gameplay passing movement have 2 change wen ur doing a set piece? The passing while ur running with the ball is not gd. needs improvement! Espiecally MISS PASS! miss pass on the game is rubbilalalala doesnt do anything to the defense. needs improvement.

3. OFFSIDES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by far the most stupidest thing on the game. The time the 10 gets on the bal on the game is stupid! Its a little harder to jus nail a 10 so easily. The backline shud move up as a line as well! not one guy running about 1000000000mph at the 10. If it was a real match, the only way u cud b up on the 10 THAT fast is if u wer offside! so sort it out! Also u shud not have so much control on a player when ur moving with him. On the game u can just give it 2 the winger and run around in circles n change direction way way 2 fast! its so stupid! make it more real, u shudnt b able 2 run around in little circles and then run pas the defender. make it like this: if u wont 2 change direction, jus move the anolog sticlalalahe player shud atomically so a realistic movement like a step... and no i dont mean using the SKILL analog! i mean like fifa. If u notice on fifa when u move around the players have more controll of themselves so u dont have 2 control them as much. on fifa u cant just run in circles 2 get past the dense. Change plz

Aslo, no more silly dive tacles, sure make a big hit but cum on u cant jus dive 10 metres to nail sum1, its so stupid and unrealistic!

overall, WATCH A ****IN RUGBY MATCH! then u shud c within 0 seconds just how bad the gameplay is.

btw- quick taps n quickline outs r a joke on the game. Quick tap shud not take so long! sumtimes the player waits untill the other team is ready and then takes a quick tap! *** is up wit that. And if a man tackles him n hey rnt 10...SIN BIN! u cant jus tackle sum1 wen thy have gone fast n ur only half a mter away. players shud not b able 2 touch them atomically wen they rnt 10, only in controll of a player u shud b able 2. and cum on, quickline outs r so ****! players do quick line outs a lot in the game but.... they dont just throw the ball along the floor n hope 4 the best! so dumb make it better plz. 1 more thing. Last thing... ENGLAND R NOT MACHINES!!!!!!! 4 GOD SAKE! sure england r a gd team, can play very well, but jesus christ on 06 jonny wilkinson is like god! On the game his punts go from is 22 to the opposite 5 metre line! NO NO NO! change needed. Realistic punting distance wise. and the way they kick it, no more side footing it! so dumb

ok, i do have a new idea.
You should be able to buy your own back room staff. BUT EA if this ever was used do NOT randomise. If you buy Gareth Jenkins your attack should go up and defense should go down. If you have shaun edwards your defense structure should go up. etc.
If this was put in as well as all my other ideas which i can't be bothered to type up then this game would be amazing....

and i also have another idea. In minor league 3 games (world league) the referees should not be as good whereas if your playing in league 1 or elite you should have proper refs like nigel owens or allan rolland.
