There is not going to be an Xbox 360 version of Rugby 08, unfortunately.

I imagine that the next Rugby game will be available on all of the next generation platforms, though.

Why won't Rugby 08 be on the Xbox360? There is a big gap in the market, specially after the World Cup for all the inspired rugby nuts (me included)

A next generation Rugby game would need to be built from the ground up, which would take a fair bit of time (the average development time for a game nowadays is 18-24 months, I believe), so I can't see their being a Rugby 08 game on any of the next generation consoles, unfortunately.

I got my rugby 08 for £20, why so cheap??? All the other sports games (e.g. FIFA 08, NBA LIVE 0

That site doesn't appear to be particularly reliable... If you go to the PC/PS2 page it has the same release date - 1/1/2008, which is clearly not right... Wouldn't trust it myself

Not to mention it's the ONLY site that has Rugby 08 on the 360 (If it were going to come out, don't you think they would have told more than just the one website?)

Yes Im all over the idea of a xbox360 Rugby 09 now at a guess a hope even, the local club all the lads there wait in hope and it is to be fair at times a big talking point in a lot of clubs. I note that even other nations France New Zealand South Africa etc you can find trheads with all sorts of people that would be interested GET IT ON...
