Default Beatles Rockband

Who genuinley gives a lalalala about 'Beatles Rockband'? Microsoft trumpeted it at E3 like they'd just signed an official gaming deal with Jesus himself, but I just didn't give a rats backside.

I quite like some of the Beatles' stuff- I even own a couple of albums, but I couldn't care less about spending £80 or whatever to play along through their career.

It's out today, but I was pleased to see that the pre-order charts have placed it behind 'Guitar Hero'

Do you give one?

I give one.

I'm thinking there are probably more Beatles songs that I would want to play than actual songs on Guitar Hero. In my experience you get trapped into playing depressing songs to get further in the game with Guitar hero, whereas I can't think of a Beatles song I would mind playing.

Not really.

Their music, while enjoyable, isn't that technical. It's very laid back with easy beats. So you're pretty much going to be doing the same thing over and over. It's like playing the beginner songs..

That's just me, though. A lot of people are big Beatles fans.. so maybe that alone is worth the fun Plus the amount of songs.

I gotta say.... this KILLS guitar hero 5 out. and before you say something, i owned GH 1,2,3 and WT and I say that Harmonix is the best with GH 1, RB 1,2 and now The Beatles.

So yes, I give to a great game that i've played for 4 days straight now.

If I want to play trumpets and play a keyboard solo, then yes, i'd play Gaytair hero.

And The Beatles being a cash cow? LOLOLOLOLOLOL GH is the ultimate cash cow. Having few DL Songs... FOR THAT GENERAL GH GAME ONLY, it makes me wonder if they care about the fans at all.

Atleast when I get rock band, I can export the songs to my hard drive for RB2 and all the other DLC songs I got before that as well.

Harmonix > nevergay/activisgay

Must be a very boring game on the drums. Ringo Star was far from the best drummer in the world, most of the songs he plays on all sound the same. Could someone let me know what the drumming in RB Beatles is like?

It's actually more fun than I expected. I'm an Expert drummer and had fun playing most of the songs.

The timing on it is a little harder than RB and alot harder if you only play GH. But the drumming is fun, some songs can be done first try, some can be overkill for your legs if you don't normally play alot of songs with alot of bass.
