Default Rock Band Drum Problem

Please help me!

I recently ordered some official Drum pad silencers from game

Xbox 360 - Hardware - Accessory at GAME.co.uk (http://www.game.co.uk/Xbox360/Hardware/Accessory/) ~r334994/Rock-Band-Official-Nerf-Drum-Silencers/?s=nerf

but i have put them on and when i hit the drums now, i get alot of dropped notes, no matter how hard i hit the drums. I got them to stop people complaining about the noise of when i was hitting the drums, but surely they should not affect the sensitivity of the
drums being as they are 'official' drum pads?

So does this mean the drum kit itself may be faulty?

If so how would i go about getting it replaced as i bought it from amazon.co.uk, but my dad decided to throw all the boxes away so i no longer have those.

Please advise, i really love this game especially the drums but its making the game no longer fun.

^^ This is the email i sent to support and just got a reply to go through the
Rockband Portal

website, which doesnt help. Can anyone advise what i should do?

If the kit performed well before you bought the pads, it is hard to tell which it is that is causing the problems for you here.

I think if I were you I would do a little research on these pads to see if anyone else has mentioned this being an issue and then contact the relevant online store to see what exchange/returns policy they have in place.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

It seems that some people have the problems and others don't depending on the model number of drum kit. I just thought as they are advertised as the official silencers, that they would work.

Are you saying i should contact the place i bought the drums or the place i bought the silencers?

I don't feel i should have to take them off and have wasted £15 for a product that they are designed for and that I already spent over £100 to buy in the first place.

Thanks,

Fraser.

The fact that some people are having problems and some aren't doesn't clear a lot up for you really.

I think my first move would be to contact EA Support to see what they suggest. They may well have more experience of this issue and be able to point you in the right direction or visit the Rock Band Portal.

The pads are not actually maunufactured by EA, but by a company called PDP and licensed by Harmonix, so you may wish to contact either of those companies about your pads and see what they suggest. You can find the link for PDP support here.

Please let us know how you get on

I had the same problem and have had to take them off because they were awful. Basically they suck if you have an EL set.
