Default Uhh Ohh... More Rock Band EU problems... Refurbished Hardware from the USA

Well I was looking around on the Rock Band forums and I just bumped into this very interesting thread about the Rock Band instruments looking like Refurbished repairs from the States.

Quite a lot of people have the same or similar problems with their hardwares, what do you guys think of this?
Rock Band problems are just never ending aye..

Apsolute joke. Just cutting costs and quality all the time. They have no respect for any of the consumers in the EU

This would be illegal, and at least one person from Harmonix has outright denied it.

Then again, given the lies we're accustomed to from Harmonix these days, I wouldn't be too surprised to see them being economical with the truth here.

But would EA really do something that's that blatantly illegal?

God knows at the moment. They have no respect. The fact that peoples drums are coming with marks on them makes it pretty obvious they dont give a ****

Seems to me that John from Harmonix cannot take any criticism whatsoever. First he locks his Thread for the European Price Flamefest and now he locks this linked thread.

What an ******** this guy is!

looks like they're gettin a bit worried . Maybe if they had tried to cover it up a bit better by not sellin equipment with marks over it. The thing is all companies are required to make announcements at certain parts of the year but looks like that announcement will have to come a bit earlier if trading standards get on their back

I've got a serious question though. In the link to the rock band forums that some one else posted HMXJohnlok said that it would not happen and there is no refurbishing process in place. However question for EA, what are all these marks people are finding on drums and why are serial number stickers being covered up with new ones up this process does not happen??? would appreciate a comment from an EA staff member to this question. And one more question, why are people still recieving EL drum kits when there are newer models in place. as i assume i would be right in asumming that u no longer produce EL drum kits and if people are buyin kits with non - EL kits in the US that means they are sold out over there. so why would we still be recieving faulty stock????

(because its refurbished)

Just read the entire thread.

It sounds pretty convincing to me. It's as if EA are trying to make the EU launch as bad as possible.
