This is the reply i had after asking about warranty replacements for my drum pedal.. ive not try'd yet but will be first thing tommorrow.
Electronic Arts is committed to providing the highest quality gaming experience possible, but occasionally there are production issues that are not discovered until after the product has been sent to stores. In these cases, we will do everything we can to facilitate an efficient exchange process and a positive overall service experience for our customers. You may contact our Warranty Customer Support at 08702432435 and choose the Rock Band IVR option to request for a replacement. On the other hand, you may also try going to Rockband Portal, choose your region and create a replacement request online. hmm... I think the US had the same issues and now has newer drum pedals. Obviously all of the older ones were shipped to the UK and sold for almost twice the price. |

Well, they're right. Other than the fact that the high failure rate for the early models of the drum kits that they're still shipping in the UK was known before the game was even released in this country, so claiming the issues weren't discovered until after the product had been sent to stores when two iterations of hardware designed to prevent those issues had already hit in other countries is a little bit... what's the word? Disingenuous? Lietastic?

Good News for snapped pedals within 60 days

Sweet.. I then asked about replacement mic, drums and guitars if they went wrong within the 60 days would they be replaced in the same way.. unfortunately they cant replace these and was told to visit the place of purchase get these replaced. the shops will replace faulty equipment within 60 days but in the warranty booklets with any of the peripherals it says EA will honour warranty exchanges up to two years but it is down to store if they will or not. the stores HAVE TO offer at least a 60 day warranty minimum so if they try to give you a 28/30 day policy bull then take your little instruction/warranty info booklet along to wave under there noses. this wont please everyone but its pleased me for now.. hope this helps someone else. DEE. |

![]() If thats true, its an absolute disgrace!!! ![]() Heads should roll at both EA and Harmonix for colluding to rip consumers off to such a degree both financially and again with the poor hardware I dont even own the game and no longer have a 360 for which to play it on if I did. But this level of poor service both in terms of Harmonix not wishing to replace products that cant even last 61 days (in the US at least). EA charging what they do AND knowingly re-selling a second hand products likely to be faulty, is nothing short of ridiculous. ![]() ![]() Watchdog springs to mind. ![]() ![]() Heres hoping you lot get the decent product (eventually) that you deserve after forking out over the odds for it in the first place. ![]() Good Luck! |
