The Wii version has NO online, NO DLC, and NO customizable characters/bands! THATS SUCKS!!! What was EA thinking? I guess I understand no DLC, but can't they just stream the songs and make them downloadable through wiiware? Why isn't there customizable characters, because that made Roack Band so much more fun! No online, I know that Wii doesn't have an online like 360 but it's good enough for this! EA your ripping me off and hundreds of others, you already lost a sale with me because of your MISSING MATERIAL! Will you buy rock band wii? I won't...
However the graphics are great, but controls are going to be the same so don't use that exscuse for taking a long time. Sorry I might change my mind about the game and i'm mad so sorry... Last edited by H5e5l5l5o5; 10-05-2008 at 07:22 AM. |

Well i just read that post 3 times and i still dont get the end. seriously mate slow down, and just in case u havent noticed, nobody is buying rock band in EU anyway cuz thr just tryin to **** us over with the price. My advice to u:
Buy a 360 as it has got the best games, brilliant online, and generally good experience and Keep the wii cuz its got good exclusive games too like mario karts

Wii looks funny to play with but it looks like it has bad graphics. I'm going to
save up for an xbox 360 and a guitar

Thats what you get for buying a gimmick console, sorry but the Wii is just a fad, nothing really spectacular has come out for it only sequels with obligitory wiimote action and games like wii fit that make people think they can get in shape when they could acheive the same result with their stairs.
If you want proper games then you need to get an xbox or a ps3, when they make cross-platform titles the wii one is always going to be the runt of the litter. Oh but they are releasing a disc with bonus tracks on it.

I wouldn't say the Wii is a gimmick console, it's just more of a family console than the 360 or PS3. The games in general are less serious than on other platforms. Although it is true that any cross platform game will suffer on the Wii, usually because developers feel the need to add in Wiimote movements.

In my opinion you should get a Wii. Yes 360 has better graphics, however the Wii is more fun to control. It's perfect for everything. You can swing a baseball bat, steer a car, punch, shoot a gun, everything. 360 is fun, but the wii controllers are good for everyone.

I think it depends on each person. I've only got a 360 at the moment, but I will get a Wii at some point. The 360 will be for my more serious gaming and the Wii will be for fun games.

I loved the Nintendo Wii, its prolly one of the best investment for games consoles, over the last 2 years I made quite a bit of profit out of it lol buying it in the summer and selling it on Christmas on ebay, I must say I cant complain hehe
