There is no official statement at this time. As I've suggested before if there is one we'll ensure it is posted on these forums.

And the fact that there hasn't been one by launch strongly implies that there isn't going to be one. The lack of an official statement is an official statement, and what it says is this:

"We have no justification for the price of Rock Band in the UK. We're just charging more money because we can, and there's nothing you can do about it."

Loud and clear.

I've just accepted there isnt going to be a statement, They obviosuly dont care about the EU's custom. Not good enough for them i guess

I think it is a very good price just over £100, for the full set that is.
Xbox 360 games average from £30 - £40, and then think, Drums, mic,
Guitar... so you are getting a good deal. Also EA say how much it should be
but it is up to the people who sell it chooses how much it is.

Um. But it isn't just over £100 for the full set. It's £170 RRP, with some shops reducing it as low as £130 - which by rights should be the RRP they're reducing from.
