Welcome to the Official EA Forum Recruitment Thread of RockSteady Football Club.

Recently Rocksteady FC has cleared out some inactive players and are looking to bolster the ranks to maintain a steady flow of games. We currently have a squad of 12 active players but are looking to strengthen for nights that we are lacking numbers.

What are we all about?

Here at RSFC we stand for; Respect, Maturity, and Commitment. These things our like the 3 commandments at our club, if you don't possess all 3 there isn't a snowball's chance in hell you will play for RSFC. As such we prefer older players, this isn't because we have anything against younger players but from previous experience anyone below the age of 17ish probably has the following things in there gamertag; (iTz, Sikk, OoOo, xXxXx, have a missed any?) and is extremely immature and irritating to some of our older players (our average age is around 23-25). However, I understand they there are many younger and also mature players out there. Unfortunately the majority far out-weigh the minority.

Respect and Commitment are also very important to us, we don't like people not turning up to organised events when they state they are able to attend. We are also big on respect, with respect comes organisation it is a lot easier to run a club when the players have respect for the management and can be positive and punctual with them.

Organisation:

In terms of organisation we are one of the most organised clubs out there, if your just a casual FIFA player then RSFC is probably not the club best suited to you. We have a Community Network (forums) where our players can check up on almost anything to do with the club. Mainly though the C'Network is used for the organisation of club sessions where I (or other RSFC Staff) will select a team of 10 players from the people available that night.

10 Player Team:

At RSFC we play with the maximum number of players EA allows us to play with (10), as such we are always on the look out for players of every position. We played with 10 for the best part of FIFA09 and although it was hard we have a respectable record of 500-80-150 (give or take). Playing with 10 players is very rewarding, and extremely fun. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

How can you succeed at RSFC?

There are a number of ways you can do well at RSFC and things that we respect. Listed below:

* Punctuality; we like all our players to be punctual and positive. A big thing we ask for is regular activity on our forums, this is a must and will help you get selected for the senior squad.
* Maturity, Respect, and Commitment; mentioned above.
* Activity; we expect reasonable activity from all our players, we aren't up-tight about absentees being unable to play for whatever reason but we expect our players to let us know about it.
* Selfless Play; we like to see confidence in our players game, but one thing we do not tolerate is consistent greed. It's acceptable to go it on your own every once in a while but we play a fair game where everyone gets a touch of the ball.
* Fluent, Attractive Football; pass, pass, pass, pass, pass! This word is the most used at our club (goals coming a close second) and we expect our players to as soon as they get the ball at their feet to look up for a pass. We don't stand for dwelling on the ball, we pass accurately and effectively with speed and we want players at the club who adhere to this philosophy of play.

How come my Application got Rejected?/What is the Best way to Submit an Application?

If you have applied to join RockSteady Football Club and your application have been rejected there are a number of variables as to why.

Presentation. We are not trying to be elitist or anything but if you can't construct a simple sentence and/or spell you will stand little chance of getting accepted. Try to present your application as well as possible, make sure it is clear and easy to read we shouldn't have to decipher remedial English language. Additionally, all applications must be written in English.

Content/Attitude. Try to include as much information about yourself as possible, the more the better. We want to know about you as a person and what you can bring to the club, any previous stints at other clubs? Let us know! As for attitude, we have a certain criteria for people we want at this club and perhaps what we look for the most is; maturity, and honesty. We especially don't like egotistical people, and liars. Keep the previous in mind when submitting an application.

This sounds perfect for me however while how regularly does everyone get to play? I'd really like to play a lot of clubs.. would I get this with you guys?

Everyone gets equal amount of game time. We feel this is the fairest and only option at RSFC. If more than 10 players are available to play then we use our rotation system.

Basically what Warrioz has said, we also provide an Academy team for fringe players who need to improve. This is so everyone always gets a game.

Although majority wise we are considered a British club, around 50% of our players are from overseas. Traditionally RockSteady FC has always welcomed foreign players, we feel they add a certain element of depth to are squad, and can contribute to it with their various nationality personality play. We provide a culturally diverse atmosphere here at RSFC, and equal oppirtunities for everyone.

Currently the Dutch have quite a strong representation in the club with 15% of our players hailing from Holland. As such is our Anglo-Dutch relations We love our very technical Dutchies

because of my age i am not allowed to play in this team. If i was immature i wouldnt of been in EA'S main team for so long. Kind of gives me an idea of what people really think of people round my age range

I lost my internet and it took a month to sort.. by the time I came back Killie announced the team was dead. Why did you leave?

It got pointless supposedly i was lm they changed formation then i became cm did well then fifa 10 came out they started playing without tellin me i lost my place then got told to play lb coz he van wanted to move further up and i did say i didnt want to be lb nomore but he ignored me so that was enough for me lol
