I'm excited but not way way excited. its still very possible that we will start the season off with a Bob Burling own goal

So we must be cautious

Im more concerned about a new stadium though

watching Denas NYRB play in that sexy complex makes me so jealous that we are still playing in a highschool level stadium - hell lets call it a hill

Yeah i read that a few days ago, its fantastic but im a bit concerned about the 18,000

I hope they leave room for capacity increases because surely san jose is capable of a bigger market than that in the long term

Half the reason why our attendances arent great is because the stadium is a lalalala pit, a brand new one would bring so much more excitment

If our team was half decent wed also be getting great crowds. there's heaps of potential in San Jose if you ask me even if a lot of people disagree. We just need to give the people a better product

Is there any push for Houston to get a soccer-only stadium? I still (partly) blame the terrain for Sounders' playoff loss last year.

Yeah, I think should be the minimum capacity for each stadium we are building (and bigger places should have at least 25k).

There is, but it continuously gets stuck for various reasons.

Robertson. I assume. Unless it is at the football stadium (let me check that).

Yeah, it'll be at Reliant Stadium.

I agree, there's no reason why SJ shouldn't be a big market for MLS.

I blame our inability to finish. And awful luck. Roger too.

I wrote that we would miss the playoffs again. I'll stand with that.

I think we will make the playoffs. Beyond that, I can't say.

I hate predictions, nobody wants to jinx their own team

Why would you want to jinx your team?

I mean, I hate making predictions as I feel that carries the risk of jinxing your team. Unless it is a silly lowball prediction.

Just kidding Steve. Don't be mad.

Are you going to the home opener against Revs?

I predict D.C. will have the second worst attendance while Steve still claims they have the best supporters.

The worst of course will be Dallas. Do you guys think Cunningham can repeat last season's form, or will he just have another average year.
