Lennon, Modric, Ashley Young, Milner > any of your wingers

Agree with you there for the most part. Although I would say Pienaar, one of the most underrated players in the premier league and close to our best player, is better than Milner and a lot more consistent than Young and Lennon. Bilyaletdinov is coming along nicely as well.

King, Woodgate, Dunne, Collins > any of your cb's (maybe Jagielka is worth arguing.)
Dunne better than any of our CBs? . Jagielka is better than all of those defenders and I would say Distin is better than Collins and just as good as King and Woodgate. Yobo deserves a mention as well.

We also have a better goalkeeper, a better LB and we are on par with the other clubs RBs when either Neill or Neville are playing. When Arteta is fully fit our centre midfield would be better too.
Also, have you forgotten which team has finished 5th the past two seasons?

Its a matter of opinion to be honest, but where are you in the league now?

Your first team at the start of the season got done 6-1 by us... and since then you've lost your best CB.

Again showing your cluelessness. Our best defender - Jagielka, our best midfielder - Arteta and our best striker - Yakubu were all out for that match. That match was in the middle of the Lescott sh*tstorm where the team was obviously hugely unsettled and our CB clearly didnt want to be on the pitch. Even Hull wouldve demolished us that day

Yes our form has been woeful this season... but did you know that we have had the most injuries of any premier league this season? Probably not.

Now Jagielka is yes, although when Lescott was there Man City didnt come calling with £24 Million for him did they?

Jagielka is overrated by Everton fans, never see him scoring from set pieces and his defending is just above par imo.

Have a nice day its sunny outside

We will finish comfortably in the top 4, its not even a quarter of the way through yet and we are not that far behind anyway

Lol, you do realise that Jagielka has been out injured since April last season? Maybe City would've came after Jagielka if he was fit, you never know..... What difference does it make anyway, just because City payed a massively overpriced transfer fee for Lescott it means he's automatically better? You honestly have no idea what you're talking about, do you.

Anyway, your inability to debate the original topic at hand (Everton having a strong team) and the points I used to back that up has meant this conversation has gone down a path that isn't even relevant - who is better out of Lescott or Jagielka.

Unfortunately I think they'll be alright because the others don't seem consistent enough. Depends on how fortunate all the contenders are across the whole season with injuries. Can't see Everton threatening, Villa maybe not a big enough squad, which leaves only City or Spurs to take it imo. If Liverpool do finish in the top 4 I think it won't be higher than 4 tbh.

I agree with Kingcantona. Tottenham, Man City and Everton seem to lose too much. The game so far with Man City and Burnley is proof.

Lescott was at fault for all 3 goals they conceded yesterday.... he has also been mediocre at best all season. That's what £24m gets you

Guessing your watching Match Of The Day... well you will see 2 of the goals were Wayne Bridge's fault then...

Enjoy the Arsenal game

I dont watch MOTD. Lescott gave away a pen, didnt close down the attacker enough for the 2nd goal and was caught out of position for the 3rd.... Yes Bridge was at fault too, but Lescott played a huge part as well. So many City fans are calling for his head on bluemoon, lol

Edit: seems i tuned into motd after it had happened.

Arsenal have a longer injury list than Everton atm. Everton only have 8 injuries while Arsenal have 9 but they are still performing well.

I dont understand why you qouted that because he was saying Arsenal are still performing despite the injuries... Liverpool aren't doing well at all.

Because someone said Everton have had the most injuries than Mikehal said Arsenal have had more and Liverpool have had more again. I was just proving Everton don't have the longest injury list

Liverpool + Arsenal have bigger squads and also more money to spend on them. It's all relative

City may drop points near the end,So Villa and Spurs are more likely to finish ahead of City in 5th place.
