A bit of a Freudian slip there, half past three in the morning in my neck of the woods

6 losses out of 7 would be considered to be bad at any club, even the press would tar and feather Fergie.

losing 1 game from 10 is kinda different to losing 6 from 7 genius

the thing is you cant know what people might say cause united have never been in this bad a form

Yes, but your justifying your position by claiming people would say its ok if United were in this position when that isn't true at all.

Losing one game might be a team having an off day, 6 out of 7 is far worse then that.

6 out of 7 is bad for Hull or Portsmouth.....yet alone Liverpool .

If Man Utd lost 6 out of 7 the reaction would be the same....

If Utd had lost 5 premier league matches before the start of November then I doubt many would consider it to be just a mere 'blip'.

But Fergies job would not be under threat. He is Man United

That's because he's done enough at United to be given a chance to turn it around, just like Wenger for us.

with torres and gerrard possibly having surgery soon, i can't see them finishing over higher than 6.

Worst worst worst case scenario for Liverpool would be them finishing 5th. No way can I see Spurs, Villa or us finishing above them

Tbh, Man City arn't exactly lighting up the PL at the moment.
I can't see Liverpool dropping out the top 4 this season.

Yeah, me neither. But I'm not ruling out the possibility of Man City finishing above them... they're the only team that can break the top four imo.

Well if you arn't ruling out City, surely then you can't rule out Spurs. I hate to say it but their form has been above their expectations this season, but they would need to keep it going which both City and Spurs may struggle to keep up.

If you'd asked at the start of the season I would've said no but now I think they might do.

Of course they will. Arsenal finished fourth last season despite losing six matches and drawing twelve. The previous season Liverpool finished fourth despite losing four matches and drawing thirteen.

Currently Liverpool have lost five matches but haven't drawn any. I think there is too much emphasis on losses here when drawing too many can sometimes work out worse than losing six or seven matches. Manchester City have only lost one match this season and have four draws, and they're just one point ahead of Liverpool with a game in hand (At worse they will be four ahead). Think about it.

I think they will, they can only improve from the level they are performing at now.

They definitely wont win the title though.

No one can predict how a season will pan out but if liverpool don't get their act together come January at the latest then I see them struggling to finish in the top 5
