Arsenal give up leads to bad teams, they've gotten good at it the past 2 seasons

So, what's up with Almunia? Is he still injured, or is that Mannone kid keeping him out?

Real mature response.

I never bad talked Song. If you do your research you will actually see that I said he had the potential, but just hasn't transfered his National team form to Arsenal until this season.

I personally don't care one way or another about Eboue. I don't think he should have been booed last season, but I also don't really care if he stays or goes either.

Everytime you post one thing can be for certain. You are either going to say something negative about Gallas, or you are going to start an argument with someone by saying something completely incorrect and then defending your incorrect information.

Its pathetic and I know you only post here because you can see how much you annoy certain people and get to them. Sooner or later people will realize where you're coming from and not bother even reading what you post, hell I know I don't most of the time because its worse than tabloid nonsense.

I wouldn't say it was over confidence. I think they just got complacent and then when West Ham starting pushing back it was too late for the guys to prevent them from evening the playing field.

Can see Almunia coming back in now though. Real talent in Mannone otherwise.

I hope Almunia plays this week vs Liverpool.. I believe if Mannone plays and impresses Wenger, again, then he could play vs Tottenham

I don't even trust Fabianski after last season, especially when he played against Chelsea at Wembley. Was like watching Lehmann when he first joined Arsenal, forever running out his box and making big mistakes

Agreed, he dosen't seem to have the talent that Mannone has shown recently but nethertheless, can perform well. We'll be seeing the kids out for the game to play against most of their reserves, lets just hope Gibbs, Senderos, Silvestre and Gilbert give whoever is in goal an easy ride

Do you reckon Wenger will field players like Bendtner and Eduardo? Liverpool played quite a strong side against Leeds I believe - They havn't got Mascherano though? He got s/o yesterday, don't know if that will count for 2moro or their next PL game But Senderos and Silvestre should keep alot of problems out

I don't unfortunately, I know Arsene has promised silverware this year but I still believe he'll stick with Watt, Vela and Jacky Wilshere as the 3 in attack. Unfortunately they do play with a pretty well endowned team as Gerrard and Torres was on the bench against Leeds and pretty sure Gerrard came on at the end of the game. Not sure if the red card does count for this game or the next Premier League game.

Don't count of Senderos and Silvestre, we still know what they're like, haha. With N'Gog on a high from scoring against Man United, he'll be a threat to us, hopefully Voronin will be invisible as well.

I hope Benitez plays that fat defender he signed for a couple of million Vela, Watt and Wilshere will run rings around them haha Hopefully we should have a strong bench. Senderos and Silvestre can score goals aswell, I believe Senderos scored 2 for his country, would be good if he can do that again hahaa. Be good if Masc can be out though, he's a v good player

That's true! Haha. I'd imagine Merida, Ramsey and Coquelin to play in the middle for us during the game. Couldn't believe when I saw Senderos put in 2 for Switzerland, haha! Its good knowing Senderos and Djourou are near enough starters for the National team tho

Would love that, as I'd imagine he'd bully the kids Though he hasn't been on top of his game lately, none of them have to be fair other than yesterday .

Overconfidence leads to complacency.

In the last two games our players have stopped trying 100% as soon as they score, that's the worst thing you can do with a 1/2 goal lead. Then all of a sudden they spring back to life when the opposition equalise, i'm sat there thinking, if you tried this hard before you let them get back into the game we would have a 3/4 goal lead by now.

They need to stop becoming complacent in matches, or we will risk losing alot more points than we should be.

Exactly - it's so lalalalaing frustrating how our effort and commitment drops completely whenever we're in a 'comfortable' position. It seems we don't know what do to - we don't continue to attack nor do we sit back and defend.

I just knew once they scored the first we were going to concede again because then we start to panic and our mental weakness gets the better of us. Stupid individual mistakes cost us quite a few points as well. We've got to cut it out and hopefully this will give us a big kick up the lalalala going into the weekends NLD as well as the rest of the season.
