Well there is rumors that the tournament might be moved. If you look at the current situation in Nigeria. It is very violent, to the point that the U.S Department of State has advised not to travel to Nigeria unless it is necessary.

Nigeria

In fact, Football wise, it is note even ready yet as about a month ago FIFA inspected the facilities and warned Nigeria to get the job done.

Well lets hope it doesn't happen. We're already too close to the tournament and Nigeria deserves to host this cup more than anyone...

I agree with that, but not at the expense of risking the safety of players, fans, coaches, etc. The situation is dire we can all just hope for the best.

If all else fails they can move it to Egypt since they are hosting the U20 right now. Although, I don't think the Egyptian FA or Egyptian clubs would be too happy about that because we had to halt the league for the U20 tournament. Also, Egypt isn't in this tournament, so it wouldn't make sense.

Malawi might make up for that.

But TBH, they won't be as bad as Tahiti!

Goalkeepers: Edgar Badia (RCD Espanyol), Julen Celaya (Real Sociedad), Yeray Gómez (RCD Mallorca)

Defense: Jordi Amat (RCD Espanyol), Jon Aurtenetxe (Athletic Bilbao), Albert Blázquez (RCD Espanyol), Albert Dalmau (FC Barcelona), Sergi Gómez (FC Barcelona), Marc Muniesa (FC Barcelona)

Midfield: Adrià Carmona (FC Barcelona), Javier Espinosa (FC Barcelona), Álex Fernández (Real Madrid), Mohamed Kamal Abdeselam (Real Madrid), Jorge "Koke" Resurección (Atlético Madrid), Sergi Roberto (FC Barcelona), Pablo Sarabia (Real Madrid), Francisco "Isco"Alacrón (Valencia)

Strikers: Borja González (Atlético Madrid), Kevin Lacruz (Real Zaragoza), Álvaro Morata (Real Madrid), Iker Muniain (Athletic Bilbao).

What a squad. Muniesa and Dalmau in the defense. Sarabia, Isco and Koke in the midfield and the boy wonder Iker Muniain in attack. This Spanish squad is loaded.

I love how Koke's surname is Resurección, he will be Atletico's savior.

Watch out for Sarabia!

If Spain play a 4-2-3-1 the front four will be amazing.

Sarabia--Koke--Isco
Muniain

Absolutely deadly. I think Spain are one of the early favorites.

lalalala. That's not good. You still have Wilson "Road Runner" Cuero though.

Now lalalala is censored, and what's with the quote problems. Get it fixed EA!

I loved having to search through seven pages to find the thread since searching is disabled.

Games today

Nigeria x Germany -2:00pm EST
Honduras x Argentina - 12:00pm EST
Brazil x Japan - 2:00pm EST
Mexico x Switzerland - 12:00pm EST

I don't know how much of the games I'll be able to see, but I want to watch some.

Let's begin.

Here are the couple of guys to watch out for:

Earl Edwards -- GK -- Has the size and strength to become the next top American keeper in the succession of top level shot stoppers.
Stefan Jerome -- ST -- Let's just say that he made this team, whereas Gyau did not.
Carlos Martinez -- MF -- The play maker for this side (and when you consider we scored loads of goals in qualifying, that's why he would be here)
Luis Gil -- MF -- Being tracked by Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. That we know of. Should say it all.
Jack McInerney -- ST -- Led the side in goals in qualifying. Also likely to be moving to Europe after this tournament..

My good friend is named Carlos Martinez haha, he just tore his patella though and he is quite good. El Salvadorian as well.

Hope this Carlos doesn't have the same fate.

------------

Excited to watch Gil, never really seen him play. What did you mean with that Jerome description?
