Watford have been one of the most consistent good cup performers in recent years (leaving aside the big guns), would like to see us get to a decent stage this year, don't see Barnet being a problem.

I must say the two new sides to this year's tournament Burton Albion and Torquay United both got horrible draws and look unlikely to have a signficant impact to this tournament.

Pleased with that start, we are famous for making a hash if it in the earlier rounds of cups against poor teams (Histon in the FA Cup and Bury in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy a few years back immediately spring to mind) so now we are safely past the first hurdle we should be looking to make a bit of an impact this season.

Wahoo! Gills are throo Bring on whoever, we gave Aston Villa a game in the FA Cup, that was only 2-1 to Villa, because Ashley Young clearly dived

Well The Eagles despatched Torquay 2-1, which personally I'm glad about considering I live 10 mins drive from Torquay and know a fair few gulls fans.

You shouldn't have worried, Plymouth under Sturrock have ALWAYS been terrible in cup competitions, my boss (who's an Argyle fan) said they were sure to go out tonight.... he wasn't wrong!

Well Watford won 2-0.......in extra time.

Could've been worse but to be taken to extra time with a good squad out against Barnet isn't that good.
