Giant-killers await FA Cup draw
FA Cup second round draw Date: Sun, 8 November Time: 1535 GMT (approx), after Northwich v Charlton Coverage: Live on BBC Sport website, Ceefax and ITV1 ![]() The 40 first-round winners will each receive £18,000 in prize money The draw for the second round of the FA Cup will be made at 1535 GMT on Sunday, 8 November - after the Northwich v Charlton first-round match concludes. Non-League giant-killers Staines Town, Bath City, Kettering, Oxford United and York are all in the hat after beating League opposition on Saturday. Boxer Carl Froch and ex-England striker Tony Woodcock will perform the draw. The second round, comprising 20 games, will be played on the weekend of Saturday, 28 November. The two lowest-ranked clubs left in the draw are Southern Premier Division side Oxford City, and Ryman Premier outfit Wealdstone, who both play their first-round games on Sunday at 1500 GMT, so will still be in action when the draw is being made. Don't notice any local rivalries here but still a good draw. If AFC Wimbledon can manage past Millwall it looks like they have a good chance to make the 3rd round. Although not local it should be interesting to see the battle of the Hampton's with Northhampton Town taking on Southampton.
