Strikeforce: Chelsea/Manchester United
Midfield: Chelsea/Liverpool Defence: Manchester United Squad: This is a hard one. Last season I'd have said Manchester United but now i'm going to have to say Chelsea or Arsenal.

This a difficult pick. Strike force is difficult because if you play simply by position then you might ignore a number of players who are heavily involved in the actual attack. Say a Cristiano Ronaldo, who although he was right wing, was on of united's most consistent goal scorers, but ofcourse he's not there now which severly weakens their strike force AND midfield seeing as he was a large part of the attack, but a midfielder none-the-less . In any case.
Strikeforce: Liverpool. Torres IMO is the best striker in the EPL currently, rivaled most closely by Drogba, but when you look at actual forwards. Liverpool has Gerrard playing a CF role behind Torres. Kuyt and/or Babel playing wings. Someone mentioned N'gog as well. I ask that people not write him off so quickly I've been watching him since he was at PSG. He's an impressive player and when he gets into full swing he's going to be immense. Midfield: Chelsea. Some say Arsenal, I disagree because Arsenal's midfield is physically lacking, and weak in defense. Nasri, Fabregas, Walcott, Denilson, Diaby, Rosicky and Arshavin. of those only two really play defensive roles, Diaby and Denilson, and neither of them are better than Essien and Mikel, who are our Midfielders with defensive roles. Rosicky, Nasri and Walcott have pace, but we have that in Malouda and Kalou maybe not to the fullest extent but enough to compete and to greater efficiency. Fabregas and Arshavin are excellent playmakers and goal scorers, but Chelsea has 3 of those in Lampard, Deco (when he's on form) and Joe Cole. Defense: Chelsea With the signing of Zhirkov (whenever that gets complete) they'll certainly have the most secure back line in the EPL. In recent years Chelsea had the best back 4 of any team, because as any person would know, considering our unbeaten streak at home and the name we got for winning 1-0. By scoring first and completely shutting off the goal with great defense. Arguably the best CB in the EPL in John Terry, an excellent LB. A good attacking RB with two other sound defenders in Alex and Ivanovic. Not to mention a number of well experienced defenders in Paolo Ferreira, Ricardo Carvalho and Juliano Belletti. Squad: Man. Utd. They have a lot of quality players that they can call up off the bench as well as a number of very good youth players. not exactly the best, but solid in every position.

Strikeforce: Liverpool
Midfield: Liverpool Wingers: Chelsea/Man Utd Defence: Man Utd added one in for wingers, as i believe liverpools central midfield partnership is the best, but our wingers let us down, and man u and chelsea have better wingers.

Strikeforce: Liverpool, if Torres stays fit. Would have been Man Utd if Ronaldo hadn't of left.
Midfield: Chelsea, Lampard is awesome! Defence: Man Utd for 2 reasons. Vidic and Ferdinand. Squad: Man Utd, have good depth upfront, defensively, and a little in midfield.

Neuer is a class act though. Attack: Arsenal Midfield: Chelsea Defence: Manchester United Squad: Chelsea We'll see after transfers but it seems Chelsea may get Zhirkov which would be good. I'm judging by the whole squad and not just the first team, Arsenal have Adebayor, van Persie and Eduardo; 3 world class strikers, the other clubs don't have 3 world class strikers. Why do people say Liverpool for strikeforce when they have 1 good striker. And Gerrard doesn't play Centre-Forward
