"Player appreciation threads" *Please Read*

Due to the surge in "appreciation" threads and to echo what I said last night, such threads will no longer be allowed for the time being. Why? It is felt that the majority of these are used as an excuse to spam, wind up other members and generally degrade the quality of the Real Football section. If you really need to show appreciation for a player please use an appropriate club thread.

Any appreciation threads from now on and until further notice will be closed / removed and result in a time out for the thread creator.
