Besides my comment was a pun, in reference to Torres' homosexuality.

Ok, so picture this: you're losing 2-0 to a side that have nowhere near as much quality as you do. You believe that you can still get a result out of the game so you throw the ball back as quickly as possible to the spot where the free-kick should be taken. The ref sees this as aggressive behavior and sends you off, and you team is cost at least a point. How would you feel?

He could've just threw it gently, or passed it back? No need for the paddy face and aggression.
Tbh I would've done the same as Torres lol.

This was pointed out to me yesterday. No rule that says you have to shake everyones hand, but it is very bad sportsmanship. You'd have thought the papers would be all over it considering they did it when Mourinho didn't shake Wengers had a few years back.
JT and Gerrard didn't shake hands either I don't think. Think JT was a bit lalalalaed off the Liverpool players crowded the ref to get him booked and Gerrard's a bit of a lalalalalala anyway, always been a bit bitter ever since he lost out to JT for the England's captains armband. |
