Alright I was curious to know other than the various English leagues what football do you guys have on television? I am kinda curious if they broadcast the MLS games over there, even though I don't expect any of you to watch. I will list the leagues we get minus the EPL and MLS; Serie A, La Liga, German Bundesliga, Argentine league, Colombian league (limited to particular teams), Australia A league, and the Mexican league (in Spanish).

I aint English, but here in Denmark the most widely available leagues on TV are:
1. La Liga (part free/part basic cable) 2. Champions League (basic cable) 3. EPL (more expensive satellite + the rare match on basic cable) 4. Serie A (only expensive satellite) Theres a quite a gap between CL and EPL. |

They used to have Italian Serie A on Channel Five, but not anymore. Apart from that, there are 2 La Liga matches on Sky Sports every week, and a few Scottish matches on Setanta. Quite ignorant that there are only 3 leagues shown over here (4 including Coca-Cola Championship)

In Norway we have the following options availible for football:
Norwegian Tippeliga Norwegian Adeco Liga Norwegian Cup Swedish Allsvenskan Swedish Cup Serie A Serie B La Liga Spanish Cup Premier League Championship FA Cup Carling Cup Champions League UEFA Cup Russian League Turkish League Bundesliga German Cup French League 1 French League 2 French Cup Mexican League Danish League Danish Cup MLS African Cup of Nations Asian Cup Japanese League Woman's football league - Norway U21 tournaments U19 tournaments Some Youth Cups Brazilian League Argentinian League Dutch league Dutch Cup However, getting all of these will cost you a bundle in packages and single channel subscriptions. If you have a satellite you can practically get any league game you want in the entire world. A couple of people I know bought this satelite pack, and it's safe to say that if you turn on the tv, there will be at least 3 or 4 matches being played somewhere. I also saw football from malaysia once... no idea how he got that though :/ |

Setanta has Dutch, French, German and Portuguese football..
Sky shows Spanish (but I don't have it so I'm not sure if there is more).. Channel 5 used to have Italian football, but the majority of the games they picked were boring, and they lost viewers.. Channel 5 also plays the occasional MLS match early in the morning, and highlights too.. And Channel 4 used to have (or might still have) Goalissimo which showed highlights of football from other countries too..
