Default Best Up And Coming For Your Country?

What youngsters look as if they'll be the next big thing for your national side?

For Wales: Ramsey, Bale and Ledley.

But he is FOR them, in the sense that he plays for their National Team, and for them is what the thread asked

Martin Hansen
Simon Kjær
Zanka
Reid
Boilesen
Enevoldsen
Salami (I hope he'll get Danish citizenship)
Saric
Lumb

what the hell is up with all these defensive players. 1 keeper, 4 CBs, 1 LB, a DM. Also an AM and an all round midfielder.

Marcus Berg (Groningen) - 13 goals and 4 assists in 15 games in the Dutch league this season.

Albin Ekdal (Juventus) - Has actually been given time on the pitch on the Juventus midfield. Was very good in the pre season and has looked pretty promising when he's been given the chance.

Martin Olsson (Blackburn) - Was voted Blackburn's young player of the year last season and has played 7 games this season for Rovers. Wasn't exactly great against Aaron Lennon and Cristiano Ronaldo, his defensive side isn't really his best. His attacking abilities however is very impressing. I watched him in the under 21 game between Sweden and Portugal and he was a constant threat on his left wing.

Now when we're talking young players, how is Ken Fagerberg doing?

His parents are and he has Italian citizenship. Get over it. He didn't want to play in the US because he had no connection. He's been in Italy a good deal of his life.

Michael Mancienne is tipped for big things, he has represented England at every level (including a cap against Germany earlier this year for the SENIOR squad)
