Its a shame that Man Utd wont be able to play champions league next year. It really is.

while it would to see teams from other countries in the UCL but realisticly they would do **** and id say its too late for the teams from lesser countries to catch up as Serie A, La Liga, EPL and kind of the Portuguese, French and German leagues have all become so rich now id say its near impossible to catch up, teams from Latvia and Slovakia would be a waste of space nowadays and would make the UCL more predictable, at least if the top 4 from Italy, Spain and England were in it, it would be more competitive and ultimately better.

Tell Platini that.

Platini would have been my favourite footballer of all time if not for his UEFA presidency antics. As with Blatter.

this will increase competition in the premier league thus making it more exciting to watch and no team can be ruled out of qualification now for next year

I would love that to happen, it would make the UEFA cup much more prestigious.

I doubt he goes out of his way to plot against England. He's in charge of UEFA countries. He has better things to do than just focus on one.

Sadly though I think the days of Belgrade and Kyiv lording it over the others are long gone, the other leagues have gone way ahead now, they will just stay whipping boys of the top teams.
This action is many years late.
