Have you reported the thread? Or are you just blindly posting here hoping that a mod will see it?

The award is for performance reasons, therefore he deserves it.

It's not "The most loyal player of the year award". He had a cracking season - end of.

^^ I agree with these sort of comments. I mean okey they hate Ronaldo but atleast they respect that he is a good player and these fans are atleast not arrogant to not accept Ronaldo as the best player afters coring 42 goals in a season. I have no problem with people who hate Ronaldo but accept the fact that he's a good player, because well.. Ronaldo's attitude and his selfishness is hateable and i understand why people hate him.

If you want to see my opinion of Didier Drogba, then here you go.

Didier Drogba: Should He Stay Or Should He Go?
I wouldnt want him out.. Yeah i agree his attitude and all his selfishness and stuff.. But put that on one side.. If a player can score 42 goals in a season for your club, and your club wins the Champions League.. You would want that player to be in your club no matter what.

By the way, I hardly consider Lyon's team hard compared to Man Uniteds, Roma (I am a Roma fan) had no totti, and lets face it , they don't have any creativity without him.
barca were struggling in laliga and champs league so it was no competition.
Mate when you had Totti, You lost 7-1 at Old Trafford

Roma are a good team, Barcelona were no competition?

Dude football isnt just as easy as it seems. Arsenal won against chelsea even though arsenal were in absolute ****e form, they still won AWAY at chelsea.

United played well, Admit it. Undefeated last season in the Champions League.

I dont really know what you're getting at here buddy ?

And as someone said, this award is for performance over the last season. tell me one player who has had the same performance as Ronaldo in the least year.

Top-4 is pretty fair, but the rest is not fair...
How can Kaká, Arshavin and Xavi be better than Ibra, Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney etc.? How many votes did the best defender in the world, Vidic, get? 1?
And players lika Cambiasso and Fabregas wasn´t even nominated!
Why can´t they just have 4-5 nominated players? Then it would be more fair.
Edit: I´m not sure if Fabregas wasn´t nominated, but it´s weird that he isn´t even in the top-10.

Vidic is not the best defender in the world, and that is final .

Ronaldo deserved this award HANDS DOWN. If you argue against it, then you are a fool.

Also why does Edwin VDS have 2 points????? HA

Anyway point was, There are only a handful of players who have scored 40+ goals in a season.

There's been so much news about it and speculation, the amount of times it's been mentioned etc. I just don't care about it anymore.

Luca Toni should have garnered some votes. He had 39 goals and 12 assists in 46 games for Bayern Munich. Seems to have been a bit of bias against those playing in Germany.

If Manchester United had won nothing at all last season but Ronaldo played the exact same in every single game then would it make him any less of a player?

Didn't think so.
