Its obviously his dream to play for Real Madrid and well most players who come from abroad to United usually move on anyway. Its mostly the british players who stay for a longer period of time. I've actually accepted the fact that Ronaldo will move on one day, but after what he has done for United i dont think any United fan will hate Ronaldo when he's gone.

But he's not bigger then the club, Glory hunters will start supporting madrid, United will always have the faithful fans that they have had.

Number 1 player in the world, Suck it up chelsea, arsenal, liverpool fans.
He has no loyalty or respect for his club, obviously some of the "newer" generation of supporters dont care about that.

Well Done Cristiano Ronaldo
How can you support a player who said the club was treating him like a slave, who does not care for the fans, and who has said many times that he wishes to leave

Yes but the many fans who support your team because of him think he is bigger than the club, and that the club revolves around him. And he obviously believes it!

I was wrong. In terms of his speed upgrade, they will take into consideration that he outran a Bugatti Veyron, leaving him to run across the whole pitch in a matter of 2 seconds.

I don't want to see another good Man Utd player go to Real Madrid. One of my favorite strikers a few years ago, van nistelrooy, went to Real Madrid. Beckham went to Real Madrid. I don't want to see another good Man Utd player go there and than lose what he has due to playing over there. Even though he is younger than Ruud and Beckham were when they went there.
Premier League football all the way!

Now that I come to think of it, so what if Ronaldo won it. He will NEVER be considered even within the top 50 greatest players of all time. He will NEVER be considered amongst the likes of Garrincha, Pele, Best, Cantona, Maradona because to tell you the truth there is no-one (besides messi) currently in this era that is considered brilliant. Sure their is Torres, Adebayor, Kaka, who r fantastic but they r not the same as someone like Zidane. When Ronaldo begins to compete against brilliant players, I will call him great, but right now he is a disloyal, piece of cr...p who doesn't appreciate just playing for a quality team and even playing a game..

Loyalty Eh? Its the club which counts and the guy has been performing at his best for 2-3 years now. He's the best player in the planet, Ofcourse he will want to fulfill his dreams to go to Real Madrid. Atleast i respect that. If i was a Real Madrid player and i supported United, i know i would still want to play for United even if Real Madrid won the European Title 15 times.

Ill give you 4 reasons.

1. 42 goals in a season
2. Best player on planet
3. Was instrumental in United winning the European Title last season
4. Shirt Sales

As i said, UNITED is bigger then Ronaldo. Its UNITED what counts for me. I support Ronaldo BECAUSE he plays well for United and when Ronaldo perform, United win trophies. Its not the other way around. I dont support United BECAUSE of ronaldo. I dont care if we get 10 more selfish players like Ronaldo, its the club's success which counts for me. We already have alot of players who are devoted to the club and they are great players. It doesnt matter if Ronaldo is not as devoted as others, what counts is he is performing to his best for United.

This is a misconception that rival fans like to say. Remember Beckham? People used to say the same thing. We support our players, through the bad times and through the good times. We stand by our players, that doesnt mean we think they are bigger then the club. Ronaldo can leave for Madrid if he wants, United will still win trophies that i can guarantee you. Ronaldo isnt bigger then the club and whoever thinks that he is, doesnt know anything about football.

Ronaldo wouldnt have got half as many goals if Rooney hadnt played his heart out every match playing out of position most of the times, Dropping in deep, playing at Left midfield right midfield week in week out and not saying anything only to let Ronaldo bomb forward. Ronaldo got so many goals because players like Tevez, Rooney, Scholes created those for him and also because he is a good player.

He can too be considered within the top 50 players lol. Also, his career isn't over dipsht. He has alot of years to be considered the best player of all time. I'm not saying it will happen, but, I am saying its a possibility.

I'm getting sick of people using Ronaldo as the posterboy for diving. Alot of players dive in football now. It's a way to get fouls called. It's pathetic and annoying to see, but, Ronaldo isn't the only one out there diving.

Yes he was so instrumental in Man United winning the champs league, even though he missed a penalty in the final (where if John Terry hadn't slipped, Chelsea would have won). Most of Ronaldo's goals came against week oposition.

Oh yeah? I wonder why Torres, Messi, Drogba etc cant score as many against week opposition. LOL. You make it seem so easy. You think playing against weeker teams is easy? If that is so why hasnt there been any player who has scored 42 goals in a season in recent years?

He was the top scorer in the champions league you fool. Do you even know what clubs play in the Champions League? The top clubs from Europe.

Ronaldo performed week in week out and thats what counts. A great player needs consistency.

Um maybe because he was to busy giving his own team mates bloody assists. If you check his statistics, you can see that last year he had 16 goals, 13 assists AND missed out on at least 2 months of football.

wait a sec, you had an easy group. Your first match was against Lyon, you then versed a Roma side with no Totti and an injured defence, you then versed a terribly out of form Barcelona, and then luckily beat Chelsea because Terry couldn't hold his feet.

Goal.com - Manchester United - Cristiano Ronaldo: Ballon d’Or Win A Dream Come True
Lol at the part “But it is fantastic as there were a lot of other big names in the race this year such as [Lionel] Messi, [Fernando] Torres and even Xavi.
“All these players could have won it but nevertheless, I’m happy to have taken it,”. Shut up u idiot, u knew no-one else was in the race, as you were sulking about it all month. At least have the guts to admit that u knew you were going to win it.
AND

“But tomorrow morning in training, I will still be the same person as always,” he concluded." So you r going to brag about how you won a corrupted award, and be all cocky.
