ummmmm, you just wrote the teams down. Try highlighting the teams you think will progress and then write out the semifinal/final.

While this draw might be bad for the United States changes at the Confederations Cup I still think its actually good long term. It is a blessing to be able to face those teams right before the World Cup in a compeitive game.

Iraq are a solid team.
They have a quality striker who deserves to go to Europe and test himself rather then turn it down again.

Iraq would not beat a full strength American side.

No idea. There is the Gold Cup and World Cup qualifiers around that time. Plus, the MLS will still be playing, so its impossible to know what kind of team that would take at this point.

I hope they do. They need to strategize against Euro teams.

Yeah, I mean fixtures against Italy, Brazil and Egypt would be great experience against top sides (such as playing England, Spain, and Argentina in friendlies this year). But I don't know how realistic it is to think we would take our top side. Hopefully though!

Judging by Bradley's mentality, I don't think he would.

Well thats another problem with CONCACAF. They have the Gold Cup every two years, which makes no sense. They should make it every four years, and have it on the even year between the World Cup, just like the Euro's. That way, you aren't conflicting with other prestigous tournaments.

Because MLS sides will not want to release players for both competitions, and the USSF will likely want to win the Gold Cup again.

I don't know how much choice Bradley actually gets in that decision.

Well, benq, it seems Lippi's come out and said he's going to use some new faces for this as a warm up to the world cup.
