Well, I think the top players in USL 1 would compare favorably to the top players in League 2 and maybe even League 1. I think the difference is the drop off between the top players and the lower end players.

And yeah, most MLS teams would be middle to lower 'Chip sides.

And of course Bradley went 90 today. Still think we need to replace him in the NT side though! He does not play enough!

Edgar Castillo playing as a left midfielder for Tigers scores a goal and made a pass that led to a handball/penalty.

His goal was great. Ran around 3 players and placed it in the bottom corner.

Great momentum for him heading to US friendlies.

Expect Grella to play against Grimsby unless Grayson decides to put a full strength squad out as our next league match is postponed.

Jozy to start vs. Stoke, and Frank Simek started for Sheffield Wednesday vs. QPR, but left with an injury, no word on how serious it is.

EDIT: Other Yanks in action, later on I'll update it with minutes, and other stuff.

Jozy Altidore and Hull City play Stoke City.

Clint Dempsey, Eddie Johnson and Fulham play Wigan Athletic.

Jonathan Spector and West Ham United play Tim Howard and Everton.

Dominic Cervi and Celtic play Falkirk.

Oguchi Onyewu and AC Milan play Lazio. (Onyewu is out injured.)

Steve Cherundolo, Sal Zizzo and Hannover 96 play Hamburg SV. (Zizzo is out injured.)

Kenny Cooper and TSV 1860 Munich play Energie Cottbus.

Carlos Bocanegra and Stade Rennes play Toulouse.

Danny Califf and FC Midtjylland play Randers FC.

Michael Parkhurst and FC Nordsjaelland play Sonderjyske.

Marcus Tracy and Aalborg play FC Copenhagen.

Jose Francisco Torres and Pachuca play Toluca.

this is the first hull city match i've watched this year, but it seems like jozy is the only player capable of consistent quality touches on the ball. they are horrible.

Left a while ago, he plays in MLS now.

Altidore goes 83, decent showing, could've done way better.

EDIT: Duece scores PK for Fulham, 3 in 3 for him.

i'd like to see dempsey get a shot at a spot on a higher quality club. he's really been quality as of late. in club and international football.

Great work from Clint. I'm starting to feel like Jozy just got stuck in the wrong team tbh.

He did alright, had two shots (maybe more, I missed the end of the first half), off target though. I think Hull needs better crossers of the ball though, not just for Jozy's sake.

KCoop was on the bench for 1860 today, hasn't scored since August...

It's possible that he moves to a bigger club. If Fulham don't make it to the Europa League again next season, I think it's possible that he goes to a team that is in it (Everton for example).

The commentator from Eurosport has Jozy pegged well:

CLOSE! Altidore, who on occasions looks like he couldn't trap a bag of cement and then does something brilliant, works himself a yard of space 20 yards out and shoots towards goal but the effort goes just wide.

Oh okay. I'd say his touches do need to improve. Sometimes, he just waits too long before making his first touch.

To bad he's not going apperantly...

For those who don't speak Spanish, he's basically saying he rather stay with his club and play in the game against Pachuca. He'll wait for a FIFA date to go play with the US...(moron )

Feilhaber and White played well for AGF against HB Køge. Feilhaber missed a really big chance and White was a constant threat because of his pace.

Califf didn't play and will most likely leave in the winter

Tracy started for AaB against FC Copenhagen where he hasn't done much. He had a decent chance on goal

Parkhurst started for FCN on right back and played a decent game except for in the final minute where he was close to giving a goal away.

He thinks he'll still have a chance! You don't just get to waltz into the setup, as if we need you!
