*Freddy Adu says on the Twitter machine that he "just got good news from my agent about possible destinations. Im hoping for spain because i like the style of play alot."
Thats from Goff. Wonder if its Xerez? Just a joke. I have no clue.

And this is from Seltzer.

Okay, I've been working on this transfer saga for a couple of days, and this is what I have learned:

U.S. backline cop Oguchi Onyewu now has three Prem offers (Birmingham, Fulham and mystery meat), two La Liga offers (shrug), one Bundesliga offer (der schrug), one Ligue 1 offer (presumably PSG or Marseille, though Lyon is a possibility) and the seemingly also-ran bid from Fenerbahçe.

As you may already know, Birmingham gave Gooch a weekend deadline to decide on their proposal, which I can only assume was a rather foolish thing to do. Frankly, I think the appearance of new EPL bids and the Ligue 1 offer is going to force the Brums to look elsewhere.

As you may recall, I warned you all a Fulham bid was in the air - I owe one super thanks to the "clock right twice a day" UK tabloids for nabbing that reveal from me this morning.

Isn't this fun?!

Apparently we have signed a young (ish) unknown american lad called anton peterlin, not sure who he played for but apparently he held his own against our midfield, even when teta was fit. so should be joining up with us in july.

Well, he is going to be signing with the club to play for the reserves at first. But he is a defensive midfielder. Don't know too much myself about him, but I am hoping to get an interview with him soonly!

Gooch obviously won't be signing anything until the end of the Confederations Cup, but he might make up his mind by this weekend.

Not likely methinks. But its a one year deal, with a possibility for an extension.

Apparently, Olympiacos is looking at Jozy. Here is a link to a picture of the newspaper that it came from.

Awhile back Heath Pearce was apparently demoted to the Hansa Rostock II squad. I don't remember seeing anything about that in this thread so maybe it was just speculation because I see it listed on a German transfer rumor site. I guess I will check the offical Rostock site to try to confirm if this actually happened.

Yeah it did, and I think it was talked about here. Hopefully, he can go back to Denmark, where he enjoyed some success.

As for transfer rumors about our boys this summer, I think we are just getting started. I think it will be a long and interesting summer in that aspect.

I have been extremely impressed with Onyewu in these past games with the US. It seems like he is so much better than he was a few years ago. I also like the fact that he does not get carded as often now.

True, true. I think he has improved all around. Even his ball distribution is good.

Jermaine Jones (Yank Abroad in training) has a hairline fracture, he's out 6-8 weeks so he won't make his debut when he's eligible which I think is in August.
