Default Hull City VS Manchester City

MATCH
PREVIEW

Todays second premier league game will be contested between Hull City and Manchester City at The KC stadium ,home of Hull City both sides will be desperate for a win as both clubs have lost their last three games, The Tigers had started their season fantastically, They have gained 20 points from 12 games, 4 wins coming on the road and a memorable victory over Arsenal. However manchester city havent had their best start to the league and seem to be struggling under Mark Hughes an under pressure manager and many think they should be doing better. Hull talisman Geovanni will face his old club Manchester City for the first time this season, The Brazillian has been Somewhat of a Revalation for the Tigers.

Ones To Watch

Geovanni:

Geovanni Dieberson Mauricio, is one of Hulls most important players, He came to the KC stadium in the Summer after being released by todays Oppnents Man City, He has received wide acclaim from pundits this season for his goalscoring and creating ability having made 10 appearences and scoring 5 goals.

Robinho:

Robson de Souza is Manchester City's record signing at £32.5 million, Signed from real madrid on Transfer Deadline day due to City being Taken over by the Abou Dhabi group, Has made a great transition into the premier league scoring 7 goals in 9 appearences for City, He takes the captains armband today in the Absence of Ricahrd Dunne

Hull City's Stadium-KC Stadium

GoingJoe's Prediction

" Well both Clubs are off form and both will be looking for a win, its a hard decision t make as one week Man City could win 6-0 against portsmouth but then lose 2-1 to wigan the next, The tigers have lost their last 3 as well and I think this game will be quite close, but this is the premier league anything might happen"

EDIT: Prediction: Hull 2-2 Man City

Hull 1-2 Man City

half-time

Manchester City go in at half time in the lead after conceding the first Goal through a Tal Ben-Haim backpass for Cousin to score. 23 minutes later Zayatte made a defensive Mistake of his own Allowing Stephen Ireland to Pull Man City Level, 11 minutes later Ireland put the Citizens ahead with a sublime strike from outside the box to but Man City 2-1 up going into the second half, Man City and most Notably Stephen Ireland have turned the game on its head in a match which started off looking like Hull woul;d go in with the advantage, Surely Tigers manager Phil Brown will have a few things to say in the Dressing Room.

Daniel Cousin- Opened the Scoring

Stephen Ireland- Scored 2 goals inside the first half to put Man City ahead after going behind.

re-start

45min:
Hull get the game back Underway

56min: 30 yard free kick to Hull Geovanni takes, Weve seen hims score from there before but it goes High and Wide of the goal.

60min:GOAL!!! Geovanni with a Free-Kick in his Range, It comes off the wall to put the Tigers Level and back into the game, 5 goals in 8 games for Geovanni.

Hull 2-2 Man City

63min: Geovanni with another chance, Hull in the Ascendency

68min: Hull start to build up an attack again, This has all the makings of a great game.

75min: Subs, Jo on for Benjani, Man City looking for another Goal, Ashbee on for Cousin, Hull looking to keep the lead. Looks like we have a tense last 15 minutes as both sides are starting to tire.

80min: Man City build up but Hull Catch them on the break to force another free kick, Closer than Geovannis goal, He is again taking.

82min: The Free Kick is going to be re-taken yellow card to wright-phillips.

83min: The Free Kick will be re-taken again, This time Ireland booked, Deflected off wall and out for a corner.

88mins: Marney booked for a foul on Robinho

89mins: Hull starting to tire toward the end, Man City creating Chances Hull hit them on counter attack and go close

90mins: Darius Vassell goes through on goal but Boaz Myhill saves well. 4 minutes go up on the board.

92min: Man City building pressure in the closing stages of the game Hull struggling defensively, Halmosi concedes a corner but Jo puts it over for a goal Kick

95min: Man City with a corner, Goal Kick. Myhill Kicks it upfield The Referee blows for half time.

full-time

A fantastic game of football for a neutral fan in a game which could have seen plenty more goals, Daniel Cousin latched onto a Ben-Haim backpass to claim the first goal, Stephen Ireland Claimed 2 goals in the last 11 minutes of the first Half to put Man City ahead. The Second half was very tense for both sets of fans and Geovani scored against his former Team with a Free-Kick coming off the Wall to bring the Match level and the Game drew to a tense end, both teams played very well and a Draw seems a fair result. Both clubs get somthing out of the game bot ending a 3 game losing streak.

HULL 2-2 MAN CITY

Geovanni- Got Hulls Equalising Goal

I want Hull to win.

Geovanni may be a handful and Cousin is always a threat from set pieces.

I sincerely hope so. We need a huge confidence boost. And I hope we get rid of Ben Haim ASAP in January. I think it would make more sense to put Kompany as Centerback for the time being because quite frankly Ben Haim is the new Sun Jihai imho.

Not only was the goal completely his fault, he also got Joe Hart injured by it. So Joe Hart will probably miss out his chance to play for the England squad against Germany.

Nice for Kasper though I am sure he will get a couple of games under his belt now finally and he is a good keeper as well so I am not too worried.

But Ben Haim's got to go.

And what's up with Benjani constantly being outside... is he too old and slow to get out of the offside or what.

And why the hell do we play Vassel as a right winger??

Great comeback though from us. Robinho is class again, should have gotten a penalty too for the handball (and so should have Benjani) but hey... these things hardly ever go our way.
