Hope he gets another chance, afterall he was facing the worlds best team. He didnt get any service, neither did Defoe when he came on

Brilliant result today

Tactics by Bruce were spot on, every player played their part. Man of the MAtch was between Cana and Da Silva.

Now we need to biuld on this and win next week. After Liverpool we lost against Birmingham, need to win next week at Wigan

Was wondering why he said it was Campbell, but then again was easier for me to tell as i sit where Bent celebrated.

Bruce said after the game that Bent had a slight problem with his hamstring, hope its just a slight problem

You would take a draw or are you expecting a draw?

I wish you all the best, the only way we are gonna be mixing it with big boys next year is via the play offs.

We have no chemistry, we have the perfect squad just too many loanees, who aren't having enough time to gel.

Well im sure he will get more help with team-mates of COD then he did against Brazil.

Cant judge him from one game against the best team, with no service. Typical southern press

ah, that rubbish

Quote:
The language barrier certainly didn't obscure Paulo Da Silva's delight at notching up a home win over Arsenal.
Da Silva's still getting to grips with the English language but is making great strides on the pitch as he put in another solid performance at the back.
The Paraguayan international captain dealt assuredly with everything Arsenal threw at him to shut out a team who have already netted 36 league goals in just 12 games.
Da Silva certainly seems to be enjoying his football and settling in well following a summer move from Mexican outfit Toluca - and he says the win over the Gunners was his best yet in a Sunderland shirt.
"The game was good, very important win today for us," he told safc.com. "There was a lot of passion and I am very happy for my team-mates and for the fans.
"This is a big win for us and every player played well. I want to play in every game. It is fantastic to play in the Stadium of Light. I am enjoying things here.
"Arsenal are a good team, but we played well and deserved the points."

Was Awesome today

The noise in the final minutes was something special, should be like that throughout the whole game though.

Andy Reid.

No wonder Ireland didn't make it to the World Cup when they would rather play Lawrence.
