The debt isn't even that much that it should be a great concern. Kaka is one of the players around which the Milan squad is based. I highly doubt they'd sell one of their best and base players.

Chelsea deny Kaka approach
Monday 7 July, 2008
Chelsea have denied claims from Milan that they have tabled an “astronomical” offer for Brazilian ace Kaka.

After a brief hiatus, the West London giants have been linked with the 26-year-old once again after former Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari took the bench at Stamford Bridge.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani told La Stampa that Chelsea had put in a huge offer for Kaka.

Galliani also claims that there is interest in Azzurri midfielder Andrea Pirlo and that Milan’s financial problems could be remedied by selling their two assets.

“There have been lots of requests for Pirlo and all we would need to do is sell Andrea and Kaka to clear all our debts,” Galliani insisted.

But the Blues have told BBC Sport that there has been no bid and after the signature of Portugal international Deco they don’t seem to have Kaka in their plans.

Kaka, who has repeatedly committed his future to the Rossoneri, will be staying put at San Siro for the foreseeable future.

Kaka ain't going anywhere!

Edit; They've already got Essien, Lampard, Ballack, Deco, why would they wanna boost their central midfield anymore?

No. You are thinking of Lasana Diarra who played at both Chelsea and Arsenal.

Galliani and Berlu are no fools, selling Kaka would lead to a revolt by the fans and also set Milan back a lot in terms of competition.

Steve Sidwell NEVER played for Arsenal. Playing for the Arsenal youth team is not playing for Arsenal. The youth team has nothing to do with the senior mens team and if you can't see that then you are a moron.

He means he was at Arsenal and the youth team does have something to do with the first team as they're the future of the first team... if you get me.

Sidwell might not have literally played for Arsenal, but people use the term "playing for a club" loosely, meaning they were at that club.

I get you in that respect, but seeing as he never saw field time with the senior team and was never a factor for Arsenal, or signed a professional contract, its like he was not at the club in any capacity.

I see, must be an English thing because here when we say someone played for a club, we mean they actually played for the club/team and if we meant otherwise we would say they were at the club.
