Rumors abound that Roy Keane is after Aiden McGeady BIG TIME! The rumored fee is around 10 million pounds (man thats awful). It looks like ole Keano is looking to really turn Sunderland into the Irish National Team as he's apparently targeting Stephen Hunt and Damien Duff as well.
If McGeady ever left, especially for such a measly fee and to an inferior team, (sorry Sunderland I do love you but let's be honest) I would feel like something was missing inside me. It would be an horrific day. someone please tell me this would never happen |

did strachan not already reject a 10 million offer plus Anthony Stokes.... any 15 million atleast.. i don't get why everyone hates Gordon Strachan becuase he was the man that discovered Artur Boruc and made Aiden Mcgeady.. not to mention he got us in the last 16 and won 3 leagues in a row!

I am going to be in Glasglow for a Celtic youth team game. Is is worth to go? I was very excited about finally seeing Celtic live but the timing didn't work out.

Signing/Rumor update:
So we've signed Paddy McCourt and a lot of people are nervous that his signing might signal McGeady's departure to the EPL please no. McCourt is maintaining that he'll continue to play for his national team (Northern Ireland) a brave lad he is. Also as part of his signing deal Celtic has pledged to play 2 games at Brandywell Park in Derry. I think that's a really cool thing to include in a transfer deal, any other instances of this happening anywhere?Samaras wants to stay in the hoops and Celtic are reported to be ready to drop the 3 million pounds necessary to acquire him from manc city. What do you greeks think? I like Gergios. Lazio is targeting Big Jan. BAHAHAHAHAH it wont happen.Birmingham rejected 5.5million pounds and Bobo Balde for James McFadden. Come on now should have gotten him before he went all EPL. Celtic are interested in Spartak Moscow Austrian defender Martin Stranzl. Dont know anything about him. But im sure he'd be good pals with Artur. It looks like Gravesen is coming back to Parkhead after being on loan to Everton. Whoopdee doo. Scott McDonald apparently after signing his new 5 year deal is taking the famous number 7 worn before by Jimmy Johnstone and Henrik Larsson? Does he deserve it yet? Aston Villa were interested in Artur Borulalalalail they saw the potential 15mil price tag. Other clubs interested were Spurs (not anymore with Gomes), Arsenal and Milan. Questions, concerns, comments, critiques, additions? |

oh yeah that's true i forgot about the chenkster. well really we have 2 definite strikers (McDonald and Bg Jan) Georgios isnt a definite obviously since he's on loan. So im sure theyre looking at strikers to cover themselves should they need. Riordan and Killen are probly out too so its understandable.

Samaras is very good when he comes off the bench but has never really performed as a starter. And anyway does anyone know If Koki Mizuno will be appearing in the first team anytime soon he played with the reserves for six months now.

who knows. it seems he was just another security signing. but ill bet he gets some first team action this season when Naka sits out for whatever reason (fatigue, injury, being way too awesome for the universe to remain intact). i dunno
