Good first game (because we are at home, and i am very confident when we are playing at home) but then its Portsmouth away!! that will be tough

We probably have the worst September in history though

Sat Sep 13 - Liverpool (a)
Sat Sep 20 - Chelsea (a)

Both away!!!

S****horpe away first, then Oldham, Yeovil and Bristol. Easy first 4 fixtures in theory , not sure whether they are home or away but none of those grounds are intimidating away grounds so we should get a good start. Hopefully we will walk this season

Oh and Leicester on Boxing day, should be a massive crowd there.

Walsall got Yeovil away first game.
Should be a must win if our manager is serious about us giving promotion a bash.

We have a bad September. Not just that consecative away games vs Scousers & Chelscum, but in between we have a Champions League game.

And is this an omen: The last 2 years, Man Utd have played thier opening game at home, and won the league

No

there were omens all over the net saying we wont win the Champions league

We mostly start our campaigns at home, its just a coincidence

I think it's a bit harsh having us against Liverpool away then Chelsea away the next weekend, surely one should have been at home!! Nevermind.

What do you make of Blackpool's opener against Bristol City, Gary?

I see Palace have Watford first, which will probably be the most even match of the opening fixtures.

Are you worried about them? We always beat Liverpool, or haven't lost for many years, and we shoudl have the better of Chelsea, 4/6 points to come out of them games

Forest away then Plymouth home and Charlton away. Rough first three

Good news though we have Dag & Red in the first round of the Carling Cup.
