We have a good chance to do so provided we don't stumble due to players overseas commitments.

Well, it depends, it's still 2 years away, anything can happen between now and then. Stars could emerge. Anything, you have to believe you cna win it though. Theres no point supporting something if you want it not to win.

i think we have a decent chance of making the quarters. 2006 was just too good to be true and i think the country will remember the feeling of it and want to do better.

i dont see why we cant go far in the wc,it seems the harder the team's we face the better we play.but we need a forward to step up and start scoring some goal's.maybe kewell playing rf cutting into the box and shooting with his left foot like agianst england he ripped ferdinand to shreads that day.

Thoughts on Bruce Djite's move to turkish side Genclerbirligi?

They both played for Genclerbiligi. Impossible to say that name without being turkish. What a STUPID decision. Not only was Nicky Carle outsed after half a season they got rid of every Aussie they'd had on their books in that transfer period.
Look at Nicky Carle now, he's a machine for Bristol City.

I wonder if they do the same to Djite.

Djite is probably hoping something similar happens to him in the Nicky Carle situation.

What you talking about "Genclerbiligi" see that was easy & I'm english through & through! ;-)

Parraboi my mate lives out in Oz, he recently brought me back a Sky Blue Sydney Fc top, are they any good in the 'A' League, or am I walking around with a load of lalalala on?

Well then you are now my enemy as I support Central Coast

We're big rivals

Oh and to fill you in a bit more..

Sydney FC:
Won the first ever A-league Title
1 of 2 first ever teams from Australia in the ACL (Asian Champions League)
Dwight Yorke, Mark Bridge, Juninho, John Aloisi all have played or are playing for them
Have produced stars such as David Carney, Mark Milligan and Zadkovich

He's a Roar fan. The QLD Roar have some great up and comming talents.
I support Sydney FC, although I HATE the Aloisi signing. He's overrated and only there for the money.

I'm a Sydney fan, but I love the gold jerseys of Newcastle. Is that wrong?

We both support Liverpool and Sydney though.
Good ish.

Brendyne your not alone, I'm a Sydney fan and also hate Aloisi, he's only here for money, 1.4mil a season **** off your not even worth a quarter of that and the club only got him prob more for marketing reason, I mean "here's Aloisi for a place in the world cup, he scoooooores" everyone knows him for taking the last pen against Uruguay, oh and for his recent shampoo commercials **** head and shoulders I can live with dandruff hahahaha

yea i agree since the japan goal what's he done? nothing!! i mean its not like he set the a-league alight like you would expect from any other player in the wc squad craig moore played alot better in both the wc and the a-league and he isnt getting any 1.4 million doller contract

Exactly and Moore had such better success in Europe and played with way better clubs than Aloisi did and he's getting paid like 200 grand a season, Aloisi getting over a mil more than Moore there is nothing right about.
