Default Derby VS Houstan Dynamo

Worst team in England's top division vs the best team in MLS. Who would win if they played each other?

Ill go for Derby.
No team in MLS can compete with any team in England.
Even the worst team in Ryman Isthmian Premier League.
Houstan Dynamo vs Leyton
Id go for Leyton.

At the moment... No-one, there's no team to play. Give us a couple of months and we would put the MLS in it's place. For **** sake they can't even spell Football right!

You didn't spell Houston right.. and I wouldn't necessarily call them the best team in the MLS. They've JUST been able to put together one win and we're 7 weeks in.
Columbus or Chicago could walk over Derby with no problems.

Don't worry about the comments Leo.. They wanted us to care about Football. Now we do. We'll continue to get better and better and they'll wish we never got involved.

All that being said, there is no scheduled match between the two so why create a thread just to start an argument?

Actually we can. One of the perks of being American, we can act on them too.

With that kind of dreaming I would think you were in Amsterdam.

Also, we all fear the mighty US... Just as we all fear the mighty Sydney FC!

But seriously, there is nothing special about being American, unless playing a hacked form of Rugby with padding (wimps!), watching rednecks drive in circles and having have such terrible spelling that Football somehow begins with an 'S' counts.

Haha, not having a dig at the Yanks here, well, I am...slightly..
How can you call that game rugby with padding, how can you call it football, when you use your hands
America...stumps me every time.

Well... Hacked Rugby with padding. What they did was take the great game that is Rugby, remove all the rules... This was fun for those who had yet to learnt to read (your average 20 year old American), but they didn't like the contact, so they got some padding. BAM! A game any self-respecting yank can enjoy. It has no rules so low IQ won't matter & it's got padding so wimps can play! However, as with most Yank inventions they couldn't come up with an original name for it, so BAM! Football! So the net result here is that they have a game that only Yanks enjoy... Damn, it's nearly as bad as "Aussie Rules"! "Oh, he's missed, but the poor baby gets a point for trying". Now, don't get me started on baseball...

I voted Houston.

I bet the American team would get more votes if you had put the team as LA Galaxy..

Well, maybe you guys [Europeans] would choose the American team if it were the Galaxy, but we know better. They have Becks and Donovan, and thats about it. They basically are lacking in every part of the field otherwise.

Silly little Aucker.

I couldn't possibly speak to the IQ of any particular NFL player, but having he common sense to protect yourself in a contact sport...

Cool bananas and all that.

Here we go again. This thread already contains the ingredients for a full out flame war looking to get locked.

-Assumptions that Houston is still quality. Check
-Derby is the worst Prem team ever and probably will stay that way forever but yet they can take any MLS team as if they were small children. Check
-A "****er" says "Yank". Check
-Someone brings up American Rules Football. Check
-They compare it to the oh so tough Rugby. Check
-A Brit questions the use of the word "Football". Check

The question is, where would this bore fest of a match that no American would pay to see take place?

If Derby came to my city to play, i'd go away on vacation. I wouldn't pay to see them if they were my home town.

If you are going by last year, the Dynamo were not the best team in MLS. Dc United was.

If you are going by this year, then the Dynamo are certainly not the best team in MLS.

Leo, you're an idiot for making this thread. The misspelled title was the first indication of it being a mistake and pointless.
