Default CA Osasuna x Real Madrid CF

This is the title buster for Real Madrid...they are away playing at the Reyno de Navarra.

Line-ups,

Real Madrid:

1. Casillas, Iker
3. Pepe
4. Ramos, Sergio
5. Cannavaro, Fabio
6. Diarra, Mahamadou
7. Raúl
8. Gago, Fernando
11. Robben, Arjen
16. Heinze, Gabriel
18. Saviola, Javier
23. Sneijder, Wesley

Osasuna:

3. Monreal, Nacho
4. Miguel Flaño, Bezunartea
6. Plasil, Jaroslav
7. Cruchaga, César Lasa
9. Portillo, Javier
10. Puñal, Francisco
13. Ricardo, Lopez Filipe
17. Javier Flaño, Bezunartea
21. Vela, Carlos
24. Astudillo, Mauricio
40. Azpilicueta, César Tanco

Cannavaro for Real Madrid, and Azpilicueta for Osasuna have received yellows soo far in this match.

30 Minutes have already passed in the first half...Osasuna getting a good number of chances, majority coming from the on loan gunner, Carlos Vela (who will be looking to panna Ramos again in this match ) while for Madrid Diarra is having a commanding role in front of the defence.

Canna sent walkin'...maybe harsh, but he should've known better not to try something like that early in the second half

Then seconds after Osasuna get a goal waved for offside...intense and dramatic beginning to this second half already.

----------------------------

Saviola off, Torres on. Good switch IMO.

@redswannabe - hahahahaha.......go blow ye' self

No, I mentioned Robinho was playing in that game even before I had mentioned Robben. I jus' got the wording messed up on one of my posts between the two. I'm not gonna get into details of it, this is for this match thread, not to discuss the other which won't have any relevance to the match.

--------------------------------

Sneijder, four players on him...fantastic lob, and it hits the cross bar...shame, and Raul couldn't follow up afterwards.

Great solo play by Wesley though

Well still 0-0 so its a good game. Maybe Real's previous #23 could have scored that freekick. I agree that golf can be tiring well how did you do?

Well that was a rough penalty and looks like the title will not be won today. That 85 was great work too! Today Angel Cabrera shot an 82 on a par 72 so you are close to being as good as the pros when they are off form.

Why is Heinze allowed anywhere near a futebol pitch again...

Hmmm Heinze somehow cut his finger, or broke it at the same time...guy is jus' a disaster today now Madrid down for 9 men at the moment.

ROBBEN!!!!!!!! fantastic heading goal, form the set-piece

REAL MADRID CF

CAMPEON de LA LIGA 2007/2008

Fantastic finish to the game, unreal...Madridistas are ROARING!!! Robben and Higuain with late dramatic goals.

Osasuna look doomed to relegation now.

hm, I saw you guys talk about the pen, and how the title would have to wait a week. Then I go back to this board, and see there is a new thread talking about Madrid being champions...... Must have been an exciting finish.

Can't wait to see Carlos Vela in an Arsenal shirt next season.
I will buy a shirt with his name on the back, that is how much confidence I have that he will succeed in the Premiership.

Indeed. He's similar to Theo Walcott in the immense amount of pace he's able to generate in a short amount of time (acceleration), plus he can actually control a ball, and pass!!

Bright future for him indeed, I think he would suite the Arsenal type of play...otherwise he might need a bit more of a physical presence when coming the EPL, jus' would help him out. Also more power on his shots would be something for him to work out aswell, he has the technique, jus' needs more bite to the shot. Mexico have been producing great players as of recent times.
