but what is it with premier league and foreign countries

Well ok, pretty much every country in Europe does this...Maybe MLS wants to experience these kinds of mini-tourneys.

I'm pretty sure Valencia, Arsenal, Inter, PSG had one pre-season...Toyota Cup was it? Betis, Sporting, and Benfica had one too, with Real Madrid, Betis, and some other club aswell in another pre-season tourny.

I think it's great for people in the States to see arguably the top level of football in the world right here in their own country.

For those that " LOL " at the thread, get over yourself. No American is saying the MLS is on the same level or near the EPL and if they do, ignore their ignorance.

If you sincerely have a problem with this " tournament " (that is just a PR-practice for you) knowing it will continue to develop popularity around the world for a game you claim to love - you aren't a true football fan. To claim otherwise is a blatant lie.

Joke or not, theres no reason a mini tourney like this wouldn't benefit both sides. MLS may not want to risk getting the snot kicked outta them but i doubt any team would let that happen.

This would be awesome. It'd also be hilarious watching the England boys play someone at Pizza Hut Park in July when it's 103 degrees and 70% humidity!
