Liverpool are moving for Porto fullback Jose Bosingwa.

The Mirror says Bosingwa, 25, wants a move to the Premier League this summer with Aston Villa and Manchester United also interested.

But Reds boss Rafa Benitez has made the first move and is in pole position to sign the £8million-rated defender.

Bosingwa said: "This summer is the best moment for me to leave for a top European club."

AC Milan want Chelsea strike-pair Didier Drogba and Andriy Shevchenko.

Shevchenko has already secured an agreement with Blues owner Roman Abramovich that he will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is ready to welcome back Sheva and will also move for his teammate Drogba. The Ivorian has only just purchased a new apartment in Milan close to property owned by Shevchenko, which has fueled talk of an imminent move to Italy.

DiarioSport says Berlusconi is willing to cough up £17 million to land Drogba.

Arsenal are ready to pounce as Robinho becomes increasingly unsettled at Real Madrid.

DiarioSport says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is monitoring developments closely as Robinho has instructed his agent, Wagner Ribeiro, to demand clear-the-air talks with Real management.

Robinho has become increasingly frustrated with the lack of game time he's been given by coach Bernd Schuster and is now seriously considering his future in Madrid.

Yet he is always on the trainers table. Teams can only take so much of that. Somthing like us and Robben. I loved the guy but he is like a peice of fine china.

Robinho would be a good fit actually. I think he'd be a good player, and he'd certainly start, wouldn't he?

That would be a solid signing if he departs from Real to Arsenal.

It would certainly make our wing play more threatening. Of course, the way Walcott is playing, he should get the spot.

So long as the signing wouldn't decrease Walcotts minutes, perhaps playing him on the opposite wing would be a treat.

Eboue hasn't shown me enough to remain ahead of Walcott going into next season. Hleb could potentially fill Flamini's slot if he leaves for Italy as has been rumored leaving one of the wings vacant for Robino.

Purely speculation on how it would add up on the pitch but it'd be a treat never the less.

and hopefully a new CB to replace lalalala senderos....that guy is just awful & shouldnt even be allowed to train with the squad anymore, what does wenger see in this guy.

wenger needs to stop being a fool & buy someone with real, proven talent. how did he not pick up ribery when he had the chance? that single player would have solved every single problem in todays game, but thats another issue....really ****ed off after today's game, wenger blew it big time.

Surprisingly and recently Milan supporters have vocally protested the possibility of Sheva's return. Ancelotti has admitted that Sheva wouldn't fit in anymore.

Assuming they were to stick with the same roster. Which I'd surprised if they did, leaving him potential to " fit " in.

Here's the article:
Carlo: Sheva doesn't fit anymore
Saturday 29 March, 2008
While reports in Italy circulate that Andriy Shevchenko is returning to Milan on loan, Carlo Ancelotti warns he wouldn’t suit Alexandre Pato.

Tuttosport among others insist that a deal has been struck with Chelsea to take Sheva on a free loan for a year so the Rossoneri will only need to pay his wages.

These too will be decidedly reduced from the deal he has at Stamford Bridge, essentially following the pattern set by Chelsea in their loans of Hernan Crespo and Juan Sebastian Veron to Inter in recent years.

“I don’t think he would make an ideal partnership with Pato, as their characteristics are too similar,” pointed out Ancelotti in today’s Press Conference.

“There would be a much better and more balanced pairing between Pato and Marco Borriello, as they have different characteristics, yet they are compatible.”

Genoa hitman Borriello is co-owned by the Rossoneri and could return to base at the end of this season.

Ancelotti also commented on Shevchenko in an unusual setting, as he was interviewed by comedy show Le Iene this week.

He was asked to pass judgment on a series of figures, not naming which one he was actually referring to, but it was quite simple to spot Sheva in these statements.

“He played a nasty trick on us, yet it is difficult to speak ill of him even now because of the great affection everyone had for this person. In a word? Traitor.”

The tactician is looking ahead to Sunday’s clash with Atalanta and the fourth place finish that could decide whether he stays on the bench next term.

“The club has been very clear, my future is not tied to fourth place,” insisted Ancelotti.

“It will be a difficult game, because we cannot afford to make any more slip-ups. We are still four points adrift of Fiorentina and that is a big gap.

“There were positive signs in our victory at Torino and we hope to continue along that path. Atalanta have characteristics that make them very dangerous on the counter.”

Atalanta already beat Milan 2-1 in the rescheduled Serie A game back in January at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.
