Interesting team to have sheva there. Not much room for him with Vucinic playing the way he is and Mancini on the bench as it is.

If it were to happen one of those players would have to play mostly the Champions League and Coppa Italia.

Napoli chase Huntelaar
Saturday 5 April, 2008
Napoli are already looking to next season with a host of big stars including Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Luca Cigarini and Fabio Cannavaro.

The Azzurri were promoted back into Serie A last summer and secured safety with a splendid campaign that sees them on the cusp of the UEFA Cup spots.

They intend to do even better next term and patron Aurelio De Laurentiis is already working on a prolific transfer kitty worth £30m.

“I met with director of sport Pierpaolo Marino to hand over some DVDs of Argentine players,” revealed agent Gustavo Ghezzi.

Among others he represents Ezequiel Lavezzi, goalkeeper Navarro who joined the club in January and Real Madrid starlet Javier Saviola.

“Saviola will certainly not play for Napoli. He is a great striker, but Marino has already said he is not in their plans because he plays the same role as Lavezzi.

“We discussed other Argentines, though. I think Piatti is an excellent player and reminds me of Gianfranco Zola. He still needs to grow and so I think he’ll spend another season at Estudiantes.”

The race for Piatti would involve a head-to-head with Juventus, but he isn’t the only big name player to be attracting Napoli’s attention.

The Gazzetta dello Sport claims they are preparing a sensational swoop for Ajax hero Huntelaar.

The 24-year-old hitman has already been linked with the likes of Juventus, Milan, Inter, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona.

Juventus are also battling Napoli for 22-year-old Parma midfielder Cigarini, while there is the romantic rumour that Cannavaro will return to his hometown club.

Currently at Real Madrid, Cannavaro would share defensive duties with his younger brother, Paolo, who is the captain of the team.

Really dunno. But I'm pretty sure he should not go to Italy. I think he would do well in Spain or England. He's kind of the same player as Van Nistelrooy: Always on the good place

yeah i don't think he would fit in well in italy...he isn't that good at holding the ball and set up other players as you would have to be if you play as a striker in serie a...he would fit in in la liga because most teams play the same style of football as in the dutch league with very attacking wingers...

and? united can still buy him if they want him, Lyon only extended his contract so they would get more money out of the deal if he were to be sold...

Arsene Wenger has identified Lyon starlet Hatem Ben Arfa as one of his top transfer targets for the summer, according to reports in France.

Wenger has admitted in the past that he is a fan of the 21-year-old and L'Equipe now claims that he is set to step up his interest at the end of the season.

The France international has not been a regular starter at Lyon in recent months and negotiations over a contract extension have been dragging on for some time.

Wenger is understood to be on the lookout for a left-footed midfielder, especially with concerns over the fitness of Tomas Rosicky.

The Gunners boss will have transfer funds available to him and rumours suggest he could be ready to pay 15million euros (£11.8million).

Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas recently denied that he had received an offer from the Premier League giant
This looks like it will go through

Ben Arfa will be a good fit at Arsenal. We need wingers, and Rosicky is never healthy.
